Space lasers, 11 year sun cycle, seasonal event, government induced fire to induce lockdowns, everything is fake and you can tell by the fire burning over the water, Pfizer did it, volcanic activity, this is a regular occurrence, the sun is actually just a close range weapon.

Equal responsibility, perhaps not. But when you are basically doing war crimes I would argue the entire chain is responsible. Yes.

Trying to show that soldiers are these poor people that have to live with doing war crimes and are worthy of sympathy because of all their trauma just doesn't sit right. Theres a lot of essentially "oh someone higher up ordered this" undertones when reality these assholes were just as capable.

It feels like a struggle for them to get over their guilt moreso than recognition that yeah they kind of did a shitty thing.

Sort of a "soldiers arent responsible for their actions" which isn't as anti war a message as people consistently say this movie is about.

Cause if i wanted to complain about your take its that it simply doesn't hit that emotional appeal if you dont hold a naive world view that the world isn't a really horrible place.

It uses dark imagery, which it gets praised for because people dont like animated movies, to mask the actual substance.

How many other sports films star cavemen who find out they're actually in the Iron Age? That said, it does wear out its novelty after the "I challenge you to a game!" scene and they take their premise in the least interesting direction they could have.

Its a common trope to build your underdogs out as primitive or like beer league amateurs.

They just took this a little literally. It was very cleverly hidden by the book.

I think moving back to 1000 would be ideal.

But more than that and things become a bit of a slog to go through and follow.

I'd like to think things get better but its hard to look around and not feel like everyone has become better off without me.

Feel very minimalized.

Friendships full of years of bad and feel broken and i dont know how to deal with them.

All my outlets i used to have just to feel like I really belonged somewhere are either gone or empty.

Board 8 is one of the last weird consistent things I have but it is adjacent to complicated things that i dont know how to talk about.

Then I have issues spending money(not with having money but the act of spending makes me uncomfortable) and i just wanted to escape to a theme park for the day but didn't have enough gas and just...i dont have work for a few days and thats usually my justification for being able to spend on my car. Completely irrational but gets worse when I'm not feeling great.

Dont know what to do about anything and I have no idea why i even got out of bed today.

Anyway, i have no idea what i am supposed to have misunderstood.

The premise started with wanting to get our friendship rolling again, group games, you floated wavelength. It predated this topic by like a week or so.

Then this topic. Big. But important part is a short segment, i get tagged, it mentions the aforementioned group thing, once a month. Sounds cool, i mention my d&d on fridays, aside the obvious baseball work the only thing I'm really commited to.

Then randomly on a whim game is going on friday. I dont want to guesstimate what is in your head. But you know, we were best friends for what felt like forever. I figured getting back to that with this was the start of the whole initial premise. I guess this is what i supposedly misunderstood. I dont get it.

Regardless of being included after or not, this just kind of stings, a lot. I've said this before, but it sometimes used to feel in your ego driven ways that your standing on b8 or wherever came before friendship.

This was a bit of a painful reminder. Like. I miss most of my old friend groups, a lot. And this just kind of piled on to the sting.

Then just trying to put some of the "misunderstanding" on me and then including me after the fact doesn't change the feelings.

But it was a very safe movie.

Sing 2 is easily the most unremarkable movie on the list. I dont know that i really have anything good or bad to say about it.
