See i agree that fantasy is way more likeable than mechs. But I think the fact that these are the Soulsborne people will get people buying it who aren't really interested in mechs, like myself. It certainly won't sell more than Elden Ring or even the older Souls games but I bet it sells way more copies than the highest selling older Armored Core title just because of the creator and the name recognition they have now.

My ONLY experience with the series was a demo of Armored Core 2 (I think it was.) Me and my brothers would do the head to head battle with the very very very limited selection of pieces and just fight each other. We had a bunch of time in the demo but it never really made us want to buy the game.

But I saw some video for 6 and I am very very very intrigued. I'll be buying it. I think the fact that the studio is a MUCH larger name now than it was previously will help a ton. The combat looked super smooth.

Like it won't do Tears of the Kingdom numbers but it will do way better than any of the other previous games, by a wide margin.

Look up 3D Dot Game Heroes for the PS3 and tell me that's not the most blatant ripoff there is. And I love it so much.

If the article is true and they are taking subs from people than I'll probably just call it quits with Reddit. Haven't been on in almost a week already anyways and it's made me realize it's just a time killer for me and I can find other ones.

Like I will usually always support a company to do what they want with their own company. If they want to make bad decisions that's on them. But Reddit is kind of unique in that Reddit itself doesn't create any content, the users do. People actually stopping using them would hurt Reddit.

Originally but then a lot of them changed to do indefinitely. But don't let not knowing everything stop you from getting angry at a specific subset of people just because of the year they were born.

This show had me so confused about her. Most of the time you look at her and she's kind of attractive. Then there's this small section of one of the seasons where her hair is all different and you remember "oh yeah, she was the drummer in Scott Pilgrim. I thought she was attractive earlier?"

I checked out Reddit today for the first time since Sunday, some of the subs seem to be back but there's still some that aren't. I notice /r/squaredcircle is still dark.

I'm more impressed by the people who did it in the jungle.

But still, at 10 that would be terrifying. I wouldn't have wanted to spend a 24 hours in the woods. Nowadays I take a week vacation to go spend it in the woods.

It's a weird point/click hybrid with some basic actual combat. When you would normally "die" the main bad guy actually captures you and puts you in a situation where you have to escape or actually die and have the game over. Like the first time it's a room with a bomb that's going to go off and you're tied to a chair and you have to move the chair to a candle to burn the ropes. There's only a few of these so after you've "died" and been captured 4 or 5 times you actually have a game over instead of an escape. I think there was one with the classic you're on a conveyor belt and you're about to be killed by a saw blade type situation.

It's what I'm aiming for. My favorite place in the world is going into the mountains and forest for camp. I absolutely love sleeping outside in my hammock. If it's raining the drops hitting my tarp are soothing.

I wanna buy a little land, build a little camp for myself, start a garden, get some starlink internet maybe and just be by myself.

The only drawback is it's a 30 minute ride to even a simple gas station so it sucks having to go anywhere, especially in an icy winter.

Creed 2 was decent. I liked it being a callback to Rocky 4.

Creed 3 was okay. When the dude from prison took of robe before the fight I knew the champion was fucked. Dude was straight jacked. It was kind of interesting with the prison dude setting up his own "Rocky" moment. The daughter was super cute in this movie and I think there might be some potential there for a movie about the deaf daughter of a champion boxer also boxing.

Jurassic World Dominion was.... okay. It's cool they went back to the Lewis Dodgson storyline with the shaving cream can. I don't remember if he was in the second movie or not, I know he was a main character in the second book. The new actor guy was kind of weird, he seemed like he was playing the one social media dude from Don't Look Up. I forgot all about the human cloning storyline. Hopefully these movies are done. I LOVED 1 and am one of a few people who liked 2 more than 3.

If that's the one I'm thinking it is you can get that aspect back where the intro to the game was in that small town. A shield for X amount of damage when facing an elite that resets every 10 seconds or something?

About to hit level 30 as a sorcerer and I think I'm getting close to finishing the Act 1. I stopped going around clearing all the dungeons and stuff because it was going to take entirely too long. I think I'll do them as I play the class they are meant for.

I switched from T2 down to T1. I wasn't really having problems in T2 and would rarely die but I heard someone explain it like "are you killing enemies 20 percent faster for the 20 percent experience" and I don't think I was so I switched.

I'm enjoying Ice Sorcerer so far.

I did start a Sorcerer yesterday and played a bunch. Got up to level 20 maybe? I keep getting sidetracked at dungeons and shit so I think I'm going to beeline to do some of the main story.

I am getting tired of walking around and finding a dungeon, clearing it, and then walking around more only to discover a town somewhere on the map that has a quest for me to go back into the dungeon and do it again. That's happened twice and it's annoying AF.

But sorcerer is fun and once I got Blizzard it started to feel better and like it's falling into place.

After I bought a PS5 I gave my PS4 to a buddy. I even formatted it first losing PT forever.

Then 4 months later his house burns down and he loses everything.

barb gets better when you get a couple decent legendaries but yeah its sucks at the beginning because fury generation is so slow and basics dont hit hard. You wont be able to solo bosses on T2 either most likely

I mostly played DH or Mage (or wtf it was called in 3) and liked the standing back and quickly teleporting around to do some damage. The barbarian is more jump into combat and just smash everything, which is fine but not my style I don't think. Especially with bleed where I'll get a guy with enough bleed to die and focus on the next group while I wait for bleed to finish and kill the guy, but then I have to walk back and get the treasure. I know it's minor but it annoys me.

I am playing on T2 and have beaten some of the bigger guys but I don't know about an actual boss level boss yet. I will say I went into a small basement of a house and The Butcher showed up and took like half my health with a single hit before he randomly despawned. Didn't get any treasure though.

It isn't nearly as bad here in central Pennsylvania, but you can definitely see smog/smoke if you look at the mountains and the sun has been very strangely red in the mornings and the moon has been blood red at night. It's... honestly very creepy. I work second shift and there was definitely a small layer of smoke

My phone instead of displaying the upcoming weather just displays the air quality number now. I'm in south-central PA and my air quality is 183 right now.

Mother 3 is such a GREAT game. I played through it again last year on one of my retro handheld backup playing machines.

Game also has one of my favorite combat themes... it's the one that sounds piano-ish and like a serial killer just arrived to chase you down.

Damn I love this game.

Playing on World Difficulty 2 or whatever it is. Picked a Barbarian. Got to level 15 and kind of realizing I don't like Barbarian. Might just start over tonight as a sorcerer.

Question: The verst first place you spawn in at apparently has a waypoint I missed. My first waypoint was the first big town where you have to burn your sin or whatever. When I opened the map I realized there was one way back at the beginning area. Did I actually miss that or did it not "spawn in" until I got to where I was?
