Yea I think Guardians 3 is the only one recently that hasn't had issues with the CG, at least from what I've heard.

Maybe the major studios' treatment of their CG artists and studios are finally catching up to them!

Awesome! I've been a big proponent of this game ever since it came out, absolutely love the story and themes it presents. The monster sections are probably the weakest part yea partly because of how strong the rest of the game is, but I didn't mind them too much. I always try to talk the game up whenever it's mentioned around.

As for Frictional's other games, as someone that's played them all except for the newest Amnesia that came out earlier this yea I'd say SOMA still stands as my favorite. The rest are definitely worth playing, but the stealth/monster stuff is still gonna be present so your mileage may vary. Amnesia The Dark Descent is probably the next one to go for if you had to pick one, it started the specific horror trend for a good reason.

Down with former champs is dumb especially when it's talking about someone that won so long ago that most of the users now weren't around for it. Like when I joined sure Vivi had won in contest IV which....dunno what year that even was, but that certainly wasn't going to have me go "Oh sorry guys, my bad! My favorite character won years ago when I wasn't around, guess I'm outta luck oh darn!"

Nah, something some people were starting to say was like "Aw yea what a girl boss, that boyfriend got his just desserts! Good for her!" instead of "Oh, a cult manipulated and took advantage of a woman and her circumstances to trap her into their sect through a feeling of "belonging"."

The fact that it also happens to be a white cult doesn't help the fact of course (because there are similarities to how white nationalists get people too, of course not exactly like this but the general manipulation) but it's more about them taking advantage of her.
