Yeah, that's right. Where I live I think you need to do school and apprenticeship.

I know two people who quit office work for a trade (both sparky's) and neither of them regretted their decision. One was early on (early twenty's) and the other was in his 30's.

I prefer digital games but I still buy disc consoles so long as people still keep selling boxes of games on FB Marketplace for $10.

Mostly a PC person tho that doesn't have a disc drive.

Are you swabbing just your nose, or also your throat? The directions for most rapid test kits will only say to do your nose, but if you use the same swab for your throat first (get right back to the edge of the soft palette, avoiding your tongue, you'll probably gag if you do it right) before going mining for boogers, it fairly substantially decreases the false negative rate. It's still not perfect, and tests often won't return a positive until ~3 days after infection (even with symptoms), but it can help.

This is ultimately why I dropped FFXIV where the end-game is to study a 15 minute video of a raid, then replicate all the steps perfectly while keeping your rotation up. While it was fun for a one or two raid tiers I didn't have much more interest in learning another choreographed dance.

Nice. If you're looking to finish the game imo don't be afraid to turn the difficulty down towards the end because (like Kingmaker) it becomes a bit of a slog by act 5 & 6. Just real unnecessary padding of random mook demons with legendary ACs and resistances.

The great thing about the game is that you can tweak the difficulty really how you want too. Lich was my 2nd restart but I dropped it for Trickster :) I'll go back to Lich soon I think though.

Let's say someone has a cow to trade and they want some chickens. They would only be able to trade directly with someone who both has chickens and wants a cow more than they want to keep the chickens.

However, if there is something that can be used to represent the value of the cow then the cow can be traded to anyone in exchange for the represented value even if they don't have chickens. Further the represented value can be traded to anyone who is offering chickens but didn't want a cow. Thus opening a larger pool of people who can make an exchange.

I thought I didn't like JRPGs, but just turns out I don't like stories about 15 year old boys with swords needing to save the realm/world while making friends along the way.

That is until I played Like a Dragon where I played as a 42 year old man with a bat who went on an adventure and made some friends along the way.

Anyway, I'll stop using the term when I can stop immediately identifying JRPG's on site.

I don't rule 20's as an automatic success but I'd rule 30 on a deception check for a cosmetic race change procedure in Thailand as a success

Yeah, you're right. I had the option to change my accept a viewpoint I think which I didn't want to take, but I did spend a loong time exploring other areas only to fail those checks too :) ultimately i did just quit the game instead of making that choice mainly out of frustration.

I was enjoying myself greatly until I soft locked myself with bad/uninformed stat decisions and pretty much failed every check I had available to me. Haven't picked up the game again but I should.

Haven't had it, but I'm sooo confident I caught it when it started but I was one of the non-symptom presenting people. I can't imagine how I didn't get it, was flying internationally in crowded airports and we were being told to not buy masks (not that any were available anyway)

I'm really enjoying the steam release too and a lot of systems I ignored in my hundreds of hours in Classic that are really obvious in the steam release that I really regret ignoring (irrigation, screw pumps and magma forges mainly).

Still got classic on my Macbook tho
