That makes sense to me. The neoliberal hijacking of the most open and equitable social & news platform has been a really horrific loss that we probably don't understand the full effects of yet.

What happened to the "Abolish ICE" people? Did this whole issue of how insane ICE's reach and policies are just get swept under the rug with the news cycle?

It probably wouldn't need so many invasive ads if it had a worthwhile mobile app tbh.

Ah, that makes more sense. Glad I've still got a ton of game to chew on. TBH I raced through the hunts without engaging in any of the other village mechanics. I really did not enjoy the tower defense mission? I hope that isn't a central part of the game.

Shadowbringers + Endwalker is the best story of the main line Final Fantasy games.

My biggest issue was just scrounging up 20%. My monthly (including property taxes and homeowners insurance) is like $100 more than rent currently is. It was never a question of being able to afford the monthly, just getting 20% while leaving plenty in savings to spare. I imagine you're in a similar boat. PMI is an option but the point of buying is to ensure my monthly is actually going towards an asset rather than in the toilet. The thought of having to spend more in the toilet rubbed me the wrong way.

PMI is definitely a massive hurdle to avoid for a lot of people. Luckily I've got enough saved up to avoid it. Also agree on dollars going to asset instead of toilet. Though my total payment on the house will be like $800 more than what I'm currently paying in rent. It works out to be exactly 40% of my income, which I'm okay with.
