As companies rely more and more on facial mocap tools to automate the process of animating voicework, more and more on-screen characters are just going to look like normal ass people because it's far cleaner to map the mocap to a model if the faces of the characters are the same as the faces of the VAs.

Here's the issue, it's a Hollywood movie, you supposed to put the best looking talent forward to get sales, normie looks just don't fly in the box office.

The complacency over Dexit has destroyed the games though, it allowed for rushed annual releases instead of the way better one Pokemon generation per console generation we are used to. Scarlet and Violet is an unfixable mess because of it.

Didn't stop Heartcatch Precure from having more than one on screen death with the trauma included.

The ESRB needs it way more than the movie industry, there are loads of games that are 15+ mostly from Japan that could benefit from a 15+ to prevent censorship issues.
