| Joelypoely 01/07/23 7:32:38 PM #3 | changmas posted... i agree that there's a lot of ugly games that I wouldn't even want to try because of it but I will make the distinction between ugly games because of lack of effort and ugly games because of a personal distaste for the style (nobody saves the world, for example), which clearly still have a lot of effort put in to their graphics. The latest Pokemon seems like it's in the former category. If they had put in another 6+ months effort to make it look like a current gen game and to fix most of the bugs/glitches, it could have gone from a 6/10 to maybe an 8/10 game. --- https://philoetryblog.wordpress.com/ |

I guess you'd also find cricket one of the most boring international sports. Yesterday in the match between Pakistan and New Zealand, after 5 days play it was very close to getting a result between the two teams (NZ in the slightly better position), but at the very end the game was called off and given a draw due to 'bad light'. Each day we would anchor at a different island and do some swimming and maybe a walk around the island (e.g. it was only 1.5 hours to walk around one of them). On the final day we woke at 5-6am from dolphins swimming around our boat, playing with each other. For me personally RPG gameplay has generally become too action focused where turn-based would be better.
