My kids watched some of the episodes, but then they got bored and wanted to watch 'real Scooby doo'.

I will only say this, but I know my family members probably better than any of you guys (unless you are one of them) and they were all fairly normal. It wasn't until the lockdown where some of them started to go down an alt right rabbit hole from youtube videos to podcasts that they started acting like weirdo's online. Notice I keep saying online, because they no way act like this in real life. If they did, they would probably get ostracised or fired from their jobs for the kind of shit they posted online.

I'll say this here, I live in a Vietnamese family and the reason a lot of them are Republicans is mostly because of Republicans stance on being against "Communism", they all escaped Vietnam for that reason. Even though I personally basically disagree with almost all the social issues they threw at me, I can always tolerate them. It's my few family members that are deep into the Alt Right Qanon/MAGAt shit that I honestly cannot fucking stand. In our IRL family gatherings they're normal, but when I see them post on twitter and facebook it's like they're a completely different person. They're constantly trolling and arguing in bad faith. This so much. It seems a bit more than just a remaster but not a full remake.

The sprites are the same, but the geometry, textures, lighting and other effects of the 3d engine are all vastly improves.

Some of it looks like it could be original uncompressed assets that could have been taken from the original assets before mastering. But honestly, that's kind of unheard of for that time period, those were being deleted left and right to get slave back, back then, no one preserved anything, especially konami.
