To be fair a derailment is considered anything that causes a train wheel to slip off the track which can be as simple as a single wheel coming off. The vast majority of derailments aren't even worth mentioning which is why no one hears about it

With this case though, isn't it more that the 2 kids found out their lemons spoilt and are now having to buy new lemons at higher prices. The 3rd kid has no spoilage issue but he also raised his prices to match the 2 other kids, so he has a lot more profit than the others

and if they hadnt raised their prices how long do you think they would have gone without supply issues, with everyone buying the cheap eggs?

if people were willing to pay an extra $1/dozen instead of just not eating eggs then obviously the price wasnt too high
