I would be leaning toward the new job. You say you SHOULD get the promotion in your department, but Im sure youve seen enough workplace politics to know that the most deserving person doesnt always get the promotion. They might even outright hire a new person from outside and keep you where you are. My point is that I dont think its good to bank on something potentially working out because, in theory, its the right thing. I see what you're getting at. I don't think they care if it is used to discriminate against people based on income, as a company. If it is in fact the case that it has been used and will continue to be used in such a manner, Apple has no reason to be compelled to solve it.

Im being serious. Ive had iPhones since iPhone 3GS, and I switched to Pixel 6 Pro last year; that phone sucked ass. It had so many bugs (literally couldnt make phone calls at times, 911 didnt work sometimes, Home Screen crashed constantly), apps sucked (some apps literally didnt work, some apps looked really bad), and the camera was a hit or miss (it either looked really good or shitty over HDR-processed, and video recordings sucked).

I switched back to iPhone 14 Pro this year.

I would only point out that the decision to go Roth v. traditional IRA is something people should consider. Both can be great tools but for some people going traditional may make more sense.
