Conservatives will never actually engage on issues because they don't believe in anything. It's literally a logical falacy, but detecting flawed reasoning or demagougery has never been a strong point of the American public.

But it's like, not even an impressive show off. The impressive show off are the skill-based rewards. Everyone I know considers paid skins/mounts/etc to be extremely cringe. I don't know maybe I'm just getting old and will never understand it.

Who are these people buying cosmetic skins in video games? Someone must be doing it, because it's making billions upon billions of dollars every year, but I don't know anyone dumb enough to participate in this stuff. So weird.

If only they had the political representation they deserved, I wonder how different things would be right now? Soon to be fourth largest economy in the the world, 40 million people, and they got same amount of say in the Senate as 300,000 people in North Dakota.

It's wedding cake by far. A birthday cake is just a regular cake. There's nothing fancy or special about it that gives it that designation, and if you go out of your way to sing happy birthday to yourself or whatever, well that's just more weird than sad. You're weird.

The wedding cake, however, implies you were gonna get married and got stood up at the last second. All that time, money, and planning, gone. You're there, in front of all your friends and family, and everyone knows you got dumped. That's sad.

Everyone saying RIP Twitter like billionaires play by the same rules as everyone else. Someone will commit some heinous hate crime or harassment or the like and the victim will sue Twitter saying they're responsible for lack of moderation. Musk will appeal it all the way up to the Supreme Court, if necessary, where the heavily conservative supermajority will rule in his/big business's favor. Like they always do.

Twitter will become the wild wild west again, and Big Tech will rejoice because they can make even more money without having to pay people for moderation or be responsible for all the (highly profitable) hate speech and whipping up the alt-right into a frenzy.

Ehhh. I'm almost positive they would do so if they could. There's just no way to spin it any other way than taking advantage of a mentally ill person for shock value ratings. He's clearly sick. There's nothing "thoughtful" about arguing with an anti-Semite, and yet the invited him on anyways. They're trying to take the high road now, but they knew what they were doing by inviting him. He must've just been even more out of control than usual and knew they couldn't get away with it.

To be fair though, girls don't take the reverse advice to heart, either. I've had a fair few say they thought their boobs were too small or didn't like the size of their nipples or whatever. They never believe you when you say you just like boobs in general, and can find almost any size attractive.

Ehhh. She's definitely a hateful person with abhorrent views, but this is kinda clickbait. The question was are you bothered by losing customers. Her answer in that context makes perfect sense.

If it was just, "how do you sleep at night?" without the mention of losing out on potential sales, then this would be worthy of outrage.

He had his college professor do a story the other day about how he's definitely gonna indict him at some point, and that behind the scenes he's really upset that the media/public think he's not going to. If that's true, it's gotta be all timing and politics, and they're just waiting for the right time that will get them the most votes or whatever.

Still though, for everyone else who knows in their heart of hearts that if they did what Trump has done they would be getting tortured in a black CIA prison halfway across the world right now, it's still incredibly frustrating.

Unless and until DOJ stops treating him like a god-king, it really doesn't matter how much proof they have and whether or not a theoretical jury would theoretically convict him in theory.

Same way as everything else. If you're rich and connected, you get a free pass on all that you owe. If you're not, they utterly destroy your life and ability to earn a livelihood.
