Should I keep Sylvain as a Paladin or turn him into a Dark Knight? Im just after the time skip and he has B rank in lance, axe and riding but his reason is at E. It would take a lot of work but I feel like it would suit him.

I would consider Silver Snow Edelgard levels a waste. She's one of your absolute best units during that time and pre-timeskip is generally harder than post-timeskip as you have less builds online. She's also one of the few units during that time with any EP potential. Like don't go hard in her investment but using her is a lot easier than saving the experience.

I wasn't thinking like that. Plus she won me every tournament in the tourney grounds so it was worth it. I'm up to the final battle before the time skip now. All of my main characters are level 20+ with Byleth being level 30. And jfc I had no idea Seteth was this good.

Speaking of Ashen Wolves, do their exam seals unlock after the time skip? I recently got one automatically after Marianne got B rank in riding. The only Ashen Wolf I unlocked was Constance and she came equipped with one but I didnt have much interest in unlocking the rest. I know you can unlock more things after chapter 13 but Abyss is mostly a chore for me.

I just turned Marianne into a Valkyrie. Originally I was all set to make her a Bishop but then I actually read up on her character and found out shes one of the most versatile units in the entire game. Between Valkyrie and Dark Flier I like the look of Dark Flier more, but it was recommended to turn her into a Valkyrie first for some skill. But Im considering keeping her as a Valkyrie because shes just so good now.

Dang, that's a lot of levels. My Edelgard in my current run was at level 24 before the timeskip and I'm actively using her for Crimson Flower. My Hubert was also around that level though so I'd have still lost more.

What happens if you recruit everyone and then go Crimson Flower? I was wondering that earlier.

Yeah :( I never bothered with her because I was so focused on trying to recruit everyone + get them all to B rank that I neglected her. And then the month after Jeralt dies I got her to B rank after I gifted her a few things and it said I was too late.

You don't lose any resources during the time skip. Thought IDK about stuff you have in the inventories of certain characters that leave during certain routes (Edelgard + Hubert in Silver Snow or Flayn in Crimson Flower for example).

I was able to take everything away from Edelgard but Hubert it just said unavailable. I barely used him anyway,

I'm close to the time skip. Am I going to lose all my Lost Items and Gifts? I have everyone to B support (except for Rhea who I sadly missed out on) and everyone recruited but I don't want to waste anything.

like 23. Just had my final battle with her. I could still use her in my remaining paralogues but it felt pointless so I kept her around for fodder. Then I finished the month off and spared her life. Right after that whole scene, Hilda joined my party. Now I need to reclass her so I can make her a Wyvern Lord.
