Makes sense to me to have restrictions for young kids. This isn't the same as video games or whatever. It can be a 24/7 fixation if you have a phone that's constantly giving you alerts and consuming your attention everywhere you go. Probably messes up early brain development. Plus it sounds like her kids still have access to some social media anyway, but aren't allowed to have their own accounts.

13 years old seems to really be pushing it though. These sorts of restrictions seem more appropriate for small children. Not teenagers. I feel like you should have more independence by 13. Maybe even by 10.

people who aren't even old enough to take care of themselves for a whole day really don't need independence on the internet.

kids should have to be 18 to sign up for their own social media anyway

I'm convinced this project was only ever announced because of threats from various countries to ban loot boxes as gambling. They announced the game right at the peak of that controversy, said nothing for a while, and then pushed out what was basically a tweaked version of the first game with battle passes instead of loot boxes and then shot the old game in the head.

OverWatch 2 was never going to be anything other than a monetization shift under threat of legislation.

I've actually noticed there are way less stuff called pumpkin spice this year. It's either pumpkin pie or fall/autumn spice. Maybe the reputation of the trend affected sales in recent years?

I think people finally figured out that there isn't actually any pumpkin flavor in it, it's just the spices used in pumpkin pie(and sweep potatoes)
