I've always liked the versatility of swapping straps but apparently, I can't just buy the heads by themselves (or at least, I'm not looking at the right places). If you remove the bracelet there should be a spring bar on each end. If you reinstall the bars without the bracelet you can now start adding and removing Nato straps. Nice, I love me some Seiko 5s. To be honest I'm kinda digging these sub 3-5 dollar watches. I noticed the higher up I go in prices the less I "get it," for lack of a better term. I get that I'm sacrificing accuracy or some notable features and specs like water resistance, but the most water these watches will ever see will likely be from a sink, and if I need to the second timekeeping, I have my phone. Not to say I dont have an eye on a really nice Tissot however, but those 800, 1000 dollar watches at this point in my collecting doesn't really make sense. --- 4/15/1951 - 3/18/2014 |
