This post-arc filler is honestly pretty solid tbh. After such a long, HEAVY arc, it's kinda nice seeing each crew member having a specific moment focused just on them, even if it adds nothing to the overarching story. It's just good, fun character development, and I think it's more than earned. Considering this is a series I genuinely thought I would NEVER get into due to its obscene length, it's quickly becoming a favorite, if it isn't already. As of yet, every time I've started to feel like I know where it's going/I think it's getting stale and predictable, it changes course in a fulfilling way. This is good shit man. Climatact is interesting, but I hope that they show her actually master it later, cause that first fight was just so joke-y and like, meh. Ussop/Chopper's was good, but honestly, I think they lose points for me for having a joint fight. Everyone else got a one on one, but they had to team up? And I know it was mostly for Ussuop's sake too. Chopper can hold his own, but Ussop REALLY struggles, so I feel like he got kinda lumped in with Chopper out of neccesity. Was still a good fight tho, I just wanna see Chopper go toe to toe, one on one with more folks.
