no i love dark samus as a villian but no she had a good final boss fight and satisfying end

granted there is ONE way i think this could work if say you are able to fight VR copies of old bosses and get special rewards

aka put the fanservice like that off tot he side as optional content

but yea i want prime 4 to focus on new ideas give me a new favorite villian

most fanbases are obsessed with an IP they love staying how it was when they where a kid

Naughty Dog aren't really the same developers they were 20 years ago. Platformers aren't their wheelhouse anymore. They're basically the gold standard for the cinematic action games these days. Which as cool as Crash and Jak were for the time didn't really come close to the acclaim they get these days.

It's not like they're the only developer around who stopped making platformers after the PS2 generation. Even FromSoft made The Adventures of Cookies and Cream.

I dunno sometimes I think it's okay for a developer to move on. Doubt there's huge demand for a new Jak game anyway.
