Chapter 8 clockwork castellan took me forever to figure out. Only other one that I missed on my initial play through was chapter 16, which I think I have a good idea of where it's at.

I've never seen a trade that everyone knew was bad, somehow get so much worse over the course of the season.

Weighing in at 168. Gained 5 pounds over the past 5 weeks, so a pound per week about. Pretty good. This is the strongest my bench has been at this weight, but my squats and deadlifts are kind of lagging. However my ab soreness finally went away, my abs have not been that sore in a while so I'm hoping my ab/core exercises that I switched to will get my abs up to speed, which should get my deadlifts and squats to start rising again.

Ha, smart. Didn't have one on me though, but that's all I will be crafting.

Started my S+ pro run, while still doing my casual pro run. Had no idea how far some enemies will follow you. The barn bull guy and a bunch of other villagers just followed me beyond the bridge and I had to run around in circles to give myself enough time to push the cart away without getting hit...because I would have died. Finished chapter 1 in 13 minutes though.

To beat? No.

Clippers are the team I least wanted to play in round 1. Not because I think the Clippers will win, just that I think it's the least interesting of the options that they could have faced. Suns/Warriors would have been the most fun to watch I think.

Up to chapter 8 on my pro run. Hardest part for me was the opening village part because my PC's graphics settings keep fucking up for some reason causing my FPS to drop to 20 and I'd get swarmed lol. (For some reason the game stopped detecting some of my RAM after the mercs update, but I got that fixed).

Once I fixed that I've been doing ok. The catapults on the castle part fucked me up a few times too.

However I'm not speeding through this and also just using this run to do some challenges/achievements that I missed on my initial play through. I'm going to start my S+ run tonight now that I got a good idea on how to map things out.

He just signed his rookie extension didn't he? Even if he goes full-on simmons and sits out, as history showed us the sixers still basically got what they wanted anyway. IMO mavs need to just focus on building up as best they can.

Yeah he did, and I get what you are saying. My point of view is coming from the fact that we already know that Luka has been disgruntled...for like the majority of the year. He has some personal issues off the court, and it's already been reported/said that they/he misses Brunson and feels they fucked that up. Not to mention Cuban and the front office are not looking like the brightest NBA minds right now. I can see the frustration boiling over and demanding a trade in a year or two.

Still gives them enough time to remedy a couple of season, but as of right now I'm pretty confident in Luka leaving. Whether it be a trade, or he leaves after the contract.

Pro is kind of nuts, but I'm getting the hang of the difficulty now. Up to chapter 3.

Mavs need to blow it up.

Irving isnt sticking around, and I doubt Luka is too. Might as well trade Luka and get the best haul you can get before they lose him for nothing.

Did a 190 x 8, 205 x5, 220 x 3, and a 230 x 1 on bench today. Hit them all except for the 220 x 3. Also hit weighted dips x 5 with 90 pounds.

Bench progress is going nuts right now, I have a serious case of Doms on my abs from a couple of days ago. Hitting deadlift again since my back is good, and hopefully these ab gains will see an increase for deadlift and squats. Weighing myself tomorrow since I haven't had a weight in a while.

Mercs is fun! Happy it's faithful to the OG RE4 Mercenaries mode. Always enjoyed it because of the simplicity of it all.

And yes, getting S rank is hilariously easy. Way easier than the original.

I'm confused. S+ is needed only for the hand cannon unlock correct? I can use bonus weapons and still get S+?

And as far as I can see, you can unlock the handcannon through mercs again like the OG, so I don't have to even need to attempt a S+ run without bonus weapons now?

Also is infinite Rocket launcher only locked to NG+ files?

Beat it. Will probably start a pro run tonight or tomorrow.

I'll still have to play a bunch more, but right now I'm leaning towards preferring the remake. If only because I think the reimagined island section is so much smoother, isn't as much as a drag as the original.

Suns should be the favorite out of the west, I dont care what any one has to say. Their record is deceiving as Booker has missed a ton a games, and then Durant went down and it was essentially like missing 3 players at that point. Durant, and Bridges and Johnson being traded. Not to mention all the injuries to Paul, Ayton and some key bench guys.

This is the first time this year they have been fully healthy for everyone I think.

I'm sure there is, but if I'm being honest, I have no idea. I've always done it based on feel. For instance this is what my set looked like today 185 X 8, 1 minute rest, 200 x 5 1:30 rest, 215 x 3 2 minute rest, 225 x 1. I always do an 8-5-3 set, then one max rep at the end. Keep in mind I always try to get them all in the one set, if I go 8/8, then 4/5 then 3/3, then I'll keep that weight the same until I actually get them all, like I did today.

So based on my anecdotal evidence, I can 2 to 3 extra reps on every 15 to 20 pounds. You can try that as a reference.

225 is now part of my normal set routine for bench. One goal down, now just to get it back up to 8 reps again.

Hit 200 on incline. I feel like my incline bench is insane compared to all of my other lifts. I'm pretty certain I can hit 210 on a good/fresh day. Overall it was a very successful pec day as I couldn't even finish out my weighted dips without them giving out.

Made it to the island.

My sentiments so far remain unchanged, as I probably need to play the game a billion times over to get a definitive feel on how I feel about the changes made. I think its mostly hits as the things that have been moved around and re-worked flow better, and just, logistically make more sense. There are misses though

They completely neutered my boy Ramon, and it's missing a lot on the original cheese of the dialogue, you can tell they reigned in a lot, but then again the original is so great because it leans so much into. I am glad they are referencing certain lines with the in game challenges, ect.

Durant likely returning, again, tonight. If not tonight probably the next game.

I haven't beaten the game so it's hard to tell how many spinels you get through the game, but the trade items are generally worth it to get as many spinels as you can, so I do.

Not sure how I feel about the castle so far. It's definitely spookier/darker/more culty, but I'm not sure how long it's going to be. Itr does feel like it's supposed to open up like the Village area, so hopefully that happens here.

Lowe back is feeling better but I went too hard with a massager and now its bruised lol. Strain is almost gone. I can feel it on certain twist and turns but stretching it out has helped a lot.

Still gonna lay off deadlifts and squats for a bit.

Hit 225x2 on bench today and sort of hit 230 for one. I say sort of because my left arm made the complete lift but my right could not get it up and had to set it on the lower end. Good progress over all though.

Haven't gotten it.

What really sticks out to me the most so far is the level design. These "levels" are just so much fun to move around and fight in, and strike the perfect balance of familiarity and difference to me.

I agree. I know that it's still RE4, but it feels so different. Very refreshing. It also still gives me a reason to go back to the original still.

Yeah, I'm spending a lot of time in the shooting range trying to get perfect scores. The last skull on 1-A is driving me nuts.

Yesterday I leaned over at work and my lower back felt like my spine got yanked and pulled out. It was relieving and very painful. I injured my lower spine/tailbone as a kid and it felt like that again(Which I also blame in stunting my growth, as I was in 6th grade, and I never grew another inch).

I am monitoring it, I think I just strained it, as it feels exactly like a strain, and it's not hindering anything normally other than it just hurts. Shit sucks, but none of my lifts are effected, but I'm gonna lay off the deadlifts for a few weeks.

Been doing a mostly clean bulk since August. As in limited protein shakes, a lot of chicken, yogurt, nuts, eggs for my protein choices. Slightly over on calorie intake to not get super big, but I got a fresh new tub of protein and I'm hoping the added calories and proteins from my shakes(I use chocolate milk so that's any where from a 300 to 500 calorie drink) will see my gains go up a bit more.

Who knows, I'm not really tracking my foods I'm just estimating based on what eat. I'm serious about my health and lifting, but not that serious about it.

Failed at 300 on squat today, but my abs are on fire from DOMS. So that's good to feel because my core strength is really in the shitter.

I have my CDL and drove trucks prior to everything having cameras.

I check them all the time out of habit even in my regular vehicle.

As a person who used to work for Carvana, they almost always offer more because their business is to churn out inventory as fast as possible. Not matter how good or bad the condition of the car. They pretty much do whatever they can to grow inventory. Whether through buying from people, auctions, other dealers, ect.

Put PTO in just so I can have the weekend to play this.

I thought we had a couple more cardio oriented people here. It is mostly weight lifting in here though. I do, do more cardio when I cut. Right now it's just once a week.

I love long walks, and I echo the sentiment of stretching. Also varying your pace from fast, to slow, to fast, fast, mid, mid, slow, ect is better for your heart health than a steady pace. I love walking but I'll do spurts of sprints here and there.

Got 300 off the ground for deadlift today, but couldn't finish the lift. Next time!

So with Denver struggling, the Kings could legitimately make a run for the number one seed. They play each other at the end of the year, and just doing a quick glance at both teams schedules, Kings look like they have the easier of the two moving forward.

Ever since the remake was announced I have not understood a single argument that RE4 should have aged perfectly. I don't think it has at all. I replayed it on PS4 but never got around to finish it despite loving it the first time, largely because I struggled to enjoy the controls in modern times.

Can you expand on this?

I've always been curious on what people mean by the controls. Like is it button mapping, animations, the way the gameplay from controller to screen interacts, the way Leon moves?

There is so much to what 'controls' encompass. I'll be the first to admit that the actions for the buttons pressed for the original Gamecube version isn't exactly intuitive, many games aren't and I feel like we just only recently have started to see more intuitive options over the past 6 years or so. On the other hand, it takes about 10 minutes to get used to.

I will say the reason I think that RE4 has 'aged perfectly' is because Leon is still tanking here. And realistically the shooting has aged fine because that's how you would shoot in real life, by just standing your ground and aiming, not running and gunning.

Obviously hindsight, but I don't think this is too surprising?

I don't think any Big ten team looked especially impressive this year.

Still repping 225 for bench. Got pissed off at a guy because he grabbed the bar when I was trying to push through( I dont ask for spots unless my confidence is super low on me making at least 1 rep on the lift)

I mean I get it. He doesnt know me, and it looks like I could drop it on myself at any time, but I know how to fail safely on bench and I want to struggle because its still worthwhile to attempt.

Edit: Pissed off is a bad description, more like mildly upset.

My shoulder impingement is getting a lot better. Still not going super hard on exercises that can make it flare up, but I did hit a new milestone of 135 of OHP. Only one rep, probably could have hit a couple more but didn't want to risk losing form and messing my shoulder up.

Changed up my front squats today and incorporated a few extra sets of just regular back squats. Attempted 295, but failed.

However I'm feeling pretty confident in my next regular squat day to hit that or 300.

Yeah the death animations are fantastic, and I'm assuming there is going to be quite the variety just from the sheer amount of newer types of enemies you run into later in the game.

I haven't followed football much the past year..is this draft projected to be any good?
