I really like the series though. Its very polished and there are some very cool characters.

I finished and really enjoyed the original game, and can not remember any wokeness. It was primarily survival horror with some corporation sci-fi story bits iirc.

I played this game a long time ago and loved it.

Tbf, liberals historically spearheaded the defense of free speech and civil liberties for criminals, terrorists, marginalized groups and such predominantly in the 60s. It was traditional groups such as the religious right that opposed them through the 90s. It feels like that flipped in the early 2000s as liberals started to fall in love with censorship and incarceration.

I havent read the entire thread, so I dont know all the things on which we agree or disagree. But I do think teachers shouldnt be trying to influence students with their personal views. There is a power imbalance, plus some of those could be manipulated just be viewing their teacher as the assigned role model.

Anecdotally. I knew a public school teacher who kept sneaking in their religious views into their presentations. Theyd remind the students that evolution didnt happen and they should want their souls to be saved. Im not saying its wrong to have her views, but I dont think she should have been trying to push that on third graders.
