The shoot them in the leg argument is fucking stupid If a cop is shooting someone, they have assessed that the threat needs to be stopped immediately. If you shoot someone in the leg, they will likely not go down immediately and can either injure the officer or someone who is being threatened. And then they might die anyway. |

A shot anywhere can kill someone. shooting to disarm is some movie-tier shit thats not at all practical or possible 99% of the time. I agree that cops absolutely should not be kicking someone in the head. But if youre shooting someone youre committed to the fact that there is a high chance they are dying. |

Its pretty good. Though I wonder if I made a mistake by watching the dub as there seem to be multiple dubs with different rights holders. I am watching the Netflix one so I hope I can continue on to season 2 with this same cast. |

The Aztecs were considered the greatest Mesoamericans in terms of warfare and just got completely demolished by Spain when they came over. The Spanish only really decimated the Mesoamericans because they got thousands of Natives to side with them over the Aztecs. Their technology was no doubt better, but even with their tech like 2,000 Spaniards never could've conquered all of Mexico if it was united. They would've been overwhelmed by sheer numbers. It was really Cortez's negotiating skills and the tyranny of the Aztecs (they were so hated that other tribes agreed to side with foreign conquerors to get rid of them) that allowed them to conquer Mexico. |

Having your life go in that trajectory doesnt leave a lot of spare time. So I predict well continue to have non-gamers or at most someone who used to game but now hasnt in like 10+ years. |

My best friend at the time (who had finished it or at least played a lot of it before) wanted to do a simultaneous playthrough with me and race each other to see who finished first. I just played through the game while ignoring the race the entire time as I didnt care about it and just wanted to experience the game. Also thought it was unfair that it was my first playthrough while it was his second. Naturally he was ahead most of the time and would gloat about it but once again, didnt care. Anyway he got grounded by his mom mid-race and got his console and games taken away. He begged me to hold off on playing since it would make the race unfair. I just kept playing as I never cared in the first place, and eventually passed him, beat the game and won. I then proceeded to rub it in his face which really pissed him off at the time. To this day (were now 30+, we still talk here and there) I still bring it up sometimes and he tells me to STFU. So yeah kind of a silly story but its an FF memory for me. |
