Yeah I remember you making that topic. I wouldn't worry about that. You get creatine just by eating red meat and seafood. Like the user above said, it's not steroids.

I mean I'm shorter than you. Even 2 inches makes a big difference for how bulky a given amount of muscle will look on you.

Idk, I've been doing this same program on and off for over a decade. Before that, I was just doing a typical "bro split" (chest on Monday, legs on Tuesday, back/bis on Wednesday, and so on).

Yes, I don't even use creatine. All my gains are strictly from my diet. The only "supplement" I use right now is whey protein powder.

Not that I'm opposed to using creatine. It's just that I'm still gaining without it. When I get to a point where I can't make any more gains without creatine, I'll start using it again. It's been about a decade since I've used it as well.

The lifting program I'm doing isn't designed for someone trying to get his most aesthetic physique. It's a program designed to get you at your strongest as quickly as possible. Every single workout, I have to lift more weight than I did in the previous workout. In order to do that, I'm eating around 4000 calories per day.

That being said, I don't look like a fatty or anything. Hell, first thing in the morning, when I'm my most de-bloated, I usually don't have a protruding gut at all. Here's a pic I took earlier this week.

Here's me 2 months ago, a little later in the day (and pre-haircut lol). I'm pretty bloated from all my meals in this pic, so this is about as big as my gut gets throughout the day.

And no, you don't have to gain a lot of fat to gain muscle, but I don't have enough patience for a slow bulk.

Yeah, idk fam. I know my chest and triceps have always been very blessed, which is cool with me, because the first thing anyone asks you is how much do you bench.

And I guess my legs aren't very gifted, hence the low squat, and I've never been good at pull-ups at all, so I guess my back is my weakest muscle, compared to where it should be based on my other lifts, which would also explain my deadlift being so low.

Probz around 205. I remember benching 245 for 3 sets of 5 then, and squatting 285 for 3 sets of 5.

I'm gaining it intentionally, btw. Current lifts are:

Squats: 245 for 3 sets of 5
Standing Shoulder Press: 115 for 3 sets of 5
Bench: 225 for 3 sets of 5
Deadlift: 315 for 1 set of 5

For all that, I can only do 5 chin-ups, palms facing me. Lol

This is not the strongest I've ever been, though. My peak athleticism was in 2012. I'm getting close to catching up with my 22-year-old self, though. I can be there within 2 months if I stay consistent.

Depends how you play.

If you're like me, and you like to hunker down and BE inside of the game, turn the hint system off, explore tangent paths, search nooks and crannies for missile/health expansions, and absorb all of the lore as you go, it might take about twice my completion time (35 to 40 hours).

If you leave the hints turned on and just go through the game without really looking for all the missile/health expansions, and dont read any of the lore as you go, probably shorter than my completion time. Maybe in the 10-15 hour range.

It's probably a top-5 immersive game ever made, though. If you're ever going to play games the way I talked about in the first paragraph, this should be one of them.

From the completion percentage, you can tell it wasn't my first time playing the game. Also 100%'d the log book.

I really hope they do 2&3 as well. Never played Corruption. But I don't want to go back to the control styles of the original.

Hot Pockets are about the only thing I microwave besides leftovers.

You're probably doing well as far as collecting goes. There aren't many instances in the game where you're going to use more than like 20 missiles between being able to refill them. So it's never an issue unless you're trying to get 75% of the items (for a particular ending) or 100% (for an even better ending).

Yup, TC, I just acquired that artifact, and it's just as I said. Using the scan visor in that area will give you the solution.

Idk if it's still a thing, but topics used to get 501 or 502 posts if several people posted at the same time as the topic was closing. So the winner might end up owing TC $1 or $2.

in the case of the phendrana tower one, the solution is so obtuse i had to look up a guide.

Pretty sure walking around with the scan visor in that area will reveal what you need.

I agree that after you're done finding all the power-ups, the artifact hunt isn't a very gratifying final task before getting to the game's finale.

However, I still find it very preferable to Wind Waker's triforce shard hunt.

Never really watched ST except when I was a kid too young to really know what was going on. Those episodes had Picard, the android, the face visor guy, and the dude with the wrinkly forehead. Again, I'm watching the OG series now.

Wow, that episode (Charlie X) was pretty dark, for a show known for being so campy. They did what they needed to do, but it seems like that kid is going to have a shit life now.

So 2 episodes in, I'm wondering, is Captain Kirk never learning to not pick up strangers on strange planets going to be a reoccurring theme?

Honestly, the current dating climate is such that you pretty much have to go about it with this attitude in order to not be stepped on and walked over.

As a kid when I originally played this game I got frustrated often not able to find things. I also didn't read scans or even scan enemies very often. It's cool as an adult and seeing that the game is willing to tell you point blank how to beat the boss if you just take the time to scan everything.

Also really digging the scan lore. Just the entire space pirate team collectively shitting themselves as "The Hunter" systematically destroys them. Never had thr patience as a kid, I kissed out, lol.

It is a completely different game if you scan everything, yes.

A few years ago, my roommate at the time was watching me play, so I scanned almost nothing, because scanning makes the game significantly less spectator friendly. Also makes it a much shorter game.

Objectively the correct way to play the game. You'll never get permanently lost or stuck if you know how to use the map. Plus the hints break the immersion. Why does Samus certainly become alerted to the existence of items as soon as she happens to need them?
