Honestly think both teams are fine with a tie. A loss hurts them more than a win helps at this point.

Both teams had the option of trying "dumb thing to go for the win" and neither did. For an overtime it was definitely conservative.

No, not anymore IMO. It's 1st and Goal you have to score a TD here. I'm also not worried about the clock because barring a penalty giving them extra downs the Vikings will have more than enough time to answer however it goes.

The Jets settling for 3 here wouldn't be the worst call given the Vikings have had one drive of substance the entire half.

Jets were a step away from an 86 yard TD reception.

White took just a hair too long to start running on 3rd down and got stopped just short. He needed to go sooner.

The fortunate thing for them is that Cincy has a brutal remaining schedule, so they might be able to hold on for dear life.

I don't even mean the division. I mean the playoffs. Losing here would put them to 7-5. They still have all 3 divisional road games and both Steelers games remaining. This is a team that could drop all the way to 9-8.

Ehhhh, the Watt injury hurt them more than their QB situation. They'd definitely have won a couple more games if Watt doesn't get hurt in the opener.

Two more wins would put them at 7-5 after this week (unless settling for all those FGs kills them), with those wins potentially over other wild card contenders.

Also is it possible the Ravens actually collapse if they lose this game too?

It's not a stretch at all to say they can lose 3 of their next 5 after this.

Also hot take: The Steelers would've been a playoff team if they started Pickett earlier in the season.

There's 25 minutes left in Jaguars/Lions and that game can already be called. The Jaguars didn't even show up to the game. This is even worse than they looked against the Texans.

The receivers have really let Mike White down in the second quarter. It looks like Elijah Moore had no idea the NFL requires two feet in bounds.

In 3 1/2 minutes in the second half, Washington lost a fumble immediately, gave up a TD, muffed the kickoff at their own 1, and started at their own 5.

My 15 is on the Vikings.

The Vikings are frauds compared to their record, but the Jets are an overhyped mediocre team being showered with praise because they dominated a bad team.

The team in the Vikings' position usually wins games like this comfortably.

Giants with a dazzling and embarrassing display of cowardice to end the half that feels like a "deserves to lose" moment.

Yep. I can't find any explanation for this massive swing in spread. Generally when you see a volatile spread in games with a heavy consensus pick, it's swinging towards the team everyone seems to be picking. It's hard to imagine heavy money swinging on the Raiders as the favorite in this game.

The Chargers opened the week at -2.5, and the spread has gone all the way to Raiders -2.5.

The Chargers are a super heavy favorite in picks on all levels everywhere I look.

What exactly is going on that moved that spread 5 points to a team that.. Very few people seem to actually be picking?
