The bigger difference is that specific frequency is low enough of a level that it's not really all that super useful. You use higher frequencies to transport more data per second, which is what people want. AM is good for transmitting long ways over the airway, which isn't that useful with the internet.
It's good for localized areas transmitting to receivers not connected to the internet.

I'm certainly no expert, but see articles from time to time about how they want to repurpose radio frequencies for other uses. The AM frequencies don't appear to be in as high of demand as FM frequencies, but it sounds like electric vehicles might use enough of the AM bandwidth to eventually get the FCC to decide that AM's time is over (which it is).

If there are 1-2 worthwhile AM stations per market (which I suspect is the maximum) they can be given FM slots/etc. The others can learn to podcast to their dozens of listeners.

FM is safe indefinitely as long as people keep listening.

I'm confirmed for a second, in person, interview. It should next week friday, and I'm planning on planning a weekend trip to Chicago with my SO the next day.
We were planning on a trip last weekend, but then I had to go and go get COVID, and now my SO is sick with the flu. Which people know about, so trying again should be good to get that half day off, or the full day off.

Basically, about half a year ago I decided to leave my current job. Making a long story short, my boss (who I massively respect) left, and there wasn't going to be a replacement for her (even though we all wanted my only coworker to take over) for the next 8 months. Then when they do hire someone, it's presumably going to be external, and, nah I'm not interested. There's other stuff as well, but that's the main thing.

Anyway I've been talking to another company, and I like what I have seen so far. I did an interview with the supervisor for that position, after when I am done with the day. He seemed to like me enough that he said he would tell the recruiter to move me forward in the interview process, in the interview. Woo great.

The problem is apparently it's a whole half a day event, meeting in person with small groups to get a reading on me. I'm assuming that it's during normal work hours, when I'm working.

Do I just tell my (singular) coworker I'm going to an interview? I technically have two managers who I haven't talked to in weeks, and they don't check on us at all. Do they get contacted about me leaving? Should I offer to work on the weekend to makeup lost hours? Am I just overthinking this?

I just got COVID last week from being in the office, and I'm just finished getting over it now.

You can use ChatGPT to easily write a 7 paragraph essay on basically anything, it's disgustingly easy to cheat.
Especially since kids aren't particularly good, or promoted to, break the format and write something creative.

GW lost their court case regarding rip off models pretty badly, so they can't do anything about it.

It comes down to a few things:
-3D printed models usually aren't as good as GW plastic in 99% of cases. Even when you have a perfect STL, it's still limited by the quality of the printer and the skill of the person printing it, which can rarely produce details as sharply
-most people don't have a 3D printer and paying somebody to print it for you isn't often significantly cheaper, unless it's a centerpiece model (which most people would rather get the official version)
-Peer pressure, both from real peers and from the way GW portrays the game in marketing. People are obsessed with playing the game "the right way" which usually involves playing it as advertised. Most tournaments will allow you to use 3D printed miniatures and proxies, but most players don't even realize it. Even then, most players don't play in tournaments. But all it takes is one dude screaming about how bad 3D prints are and a whole community will avoid using them.

Honestly, I have no idea how GW even survives now that 3D printing is a thing. I love Warhammer (both WFB and 40k), but I just couldn't bring myself to pay their exorbitant prices anymore. Every time I went into a store for GW stuff, I came out feeling completely ripped off.

I think the ttrpg is a whale-only market. The videogame and books are for the more casual people. Why pay $100 for almost a squad when you can get a quality videogame and a some books? Especially for a handful of minis you need to painstakingly paint and adjust, dumping more and more time into something that's kinda fun (compared to other wargames).

Just play what's fun, don't bother aiming for anything.
It's a good game, just enjoy it.

You don't necessarily have to use pure MSG. Soy sauce, meat stock and/or fondue can also be used to add umami into a dish.

Another key taste to add is acid. Balsamic vinegar and red wine are good options for a meat dish.

No it doesn't need to be pure, but I enjoy using it as a simple wrenching to a taste I'm going for.
Same thing with adding sugar to make it more sweet, salt to make it saltier, and once I pick it up, citric acid to make it more acidic.
