I love FF but don't like Tactics at all. Had the game on PS1 and tried twice to get into it, and couldn't do it.

Turn-based combat is fine, but turn-based strategy is not for me.

my biggest problem with Picard, and Disco to a lesser extent, is that the episodes aren't episodes. they rely so much on telling the season long story that they forget that each episode needs to tell a complete story, too. instead, they keep writing 10 hour movies and cut them into pieces. that's not just a trek problem, though.

I really hate the trend. I think they're trying to cater to binge-watching by combining all of it into a single serialized narrative instead of episodic.

I just use Lightstream. I only play on console, and is the best alternative if you don't have a PC or capture card.

No, it's over. There's some shows that have the ST brand, but aren't really ST. Most of the modern shows seem to be written by people that hate Star Trek.

Brave New Worlds is probably the best thing to come out of the franchise in over 20 years

Just finished the dam, and it plays just fine on Xbox. A lot better than I was expecting.

The framerate and the controls are waaay better, which is what aged the original to unplayability to begin with.

I think some of the points went over your head or you missed the emotional moments. Im surprised you didnt have an issue with Odin. I agree the game overall didnt live up to the hype, but I think its a good game nonetheless.

I liked the 2018 one way more, and it had some story pacing, but I felt like it hit the emotional moments perfectly. And not everything needs an explanation or reason. Like, it's kind of irrelevant as to who called the World Serpent there since he was integral to fighting Thor at Ragnarok, and was meant to be there anyway.

I feel like given how long the Norse games were compared to the Greek saga, it would have worn out its welcome if it was a trilogy.

Also, prior to The Principal and the Pauper, the worst episode by most fans and critics was generally considered to be Homerpalooza.

It was more of a "even the most sacred characters can be changed at any time" thing which is why it's such a bad episode.

Yeah, the jokes themselves were mostly still good, but it was doing this weird parody of shocking season premiere plot twists that ruin a show's continuity...by ruining the show's continuity.

Theres very few shows that last more than 5-6 seasons that dont eventually jump the shark.

On top of that, Happy Days was still number 1 for like 3 or 4 more seasons after Fonzie jumped the shark.

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, but several episodes apart.

He's great. He also does a good job teaching the player about Norse mythology
