I like Linux but I wouldn't recommend it. If you want to try it out, go for distros like Ubuntu or Fedora; the latter being a very stable "vanilla" experience. |

Can't really say anything about Smash players, though I worked with someone who was obsessed with the FGC and they were insufferable. All they would talk about was fighting games and when a coworker asked them if they were going to get Smash Ultimate (back when it was about to release) he went on a rant for at least half an hour, yammering about characters he wanted to see in the game as DLC. |
