Celiac disease is an actual thing. It will cause medical distress if a person eats gluten.

gluten sensitivity isnt an actual medical issue, but people may feel better for whatever reason. Personal choice. Who cares why they dont want gluten. It doesnt harm anyone else. But people with celiac it is problematic.

I do like chocolate. I was stress eating and saw it at the coffee bar. Went I like pumpkin pie (I love it actually if its made a certain way, being very very light on the clove), so I said fuck it and bought it.

It wasnt like terrible but I just didnt like the overall flavor. Im guessing it was the tanginess of the cheesecake. I love cream cheese, especially as a dip

Try a sample platter of cheesecake and see if you like any of those. Pumpkin cheesecake is my favorite but it tastes much better when you make it instead of buy it.

Oh trust me jokes aside I do buy more oil its just really fucking annoying because its around the top of the engine and thus (possibly in this weather more so) I will see the damn engine smoke despite the fact its not over heating. I guess it could be worse with the head gasket or leaking from the bottom of the engine onto the ground.

I dont feel regret or remorse. Part of the trauma response from being raised by these people.

I did not speak to my mother for most of the 16 years after I moved out before she died. Maybe a sentence here or there on the phone. But Ive never regretted it.

So yeah... Ive mentioned I probably wont feel much going on. Im willing to help in this situation, and I feel like he probably already would have died if I wasnt around to help as much as Im trying to... but that doesnt mean Im willing to let him break boundaries I have for how he raised me.

Im not upset for you feeling that maybe I should be kinder, but I also feel that my mental health also needs its priority and my ptsd has been triggered so Im now dealing with flashbacks from this... and Im having a panic attack.

Boundaries are healthy. Dying give a person a right to break them.

Im a picky eater but I have never lied about an allergy and dont see a reason to.

That said, I have EOE which is a confusing condition. Im not supposed to have yeast, among other things. Sometimes my triggers dont bother me at all, and sometimes it takes more than a day for my esophagus to react. So naturally people dont believe that I have allergies. If you go to r/foodallergies, everyone has stories of assholes not believing them.

Yeah, I didnt mean all picky eaters. I should have said Some picky eaters. Im picky too. Less now than 3 decades ago, but still.

I also dont get people refusing to believe people have an allergy. You can really fuck up someone simply because you dont believe them. Which why I dont care if people actually are celiac or just dont want gluten and say theyre allergic. It doesnt affect my life at all, let them live theirs for whatever reason

My car right now has its own issues, the big annoying one is it has an oil leak which is small enough that isnt huge for now but since I never cleaned the engine the oil has dripped on the lower half/exhaust system. Which because of the winter weather it causes it to smoke and once in a while it will trigger a code because its drips on the O2 sensor and that screws with it for a day or two before it dries off. (Need to see how much to fix it because its not the Head Gasket thankfully because I will check the dip stick and the oil is still amber)

Its not about that, my mother was sick for a long time and luckily I was able to stay home and take care of both my parents. I am confident that if I wasnt able to do that, and we had to put them in a home, they both would have died years earlier than they did. What really gets me is the nursing staff gave us the impressions that mom was getting better, and would be discharged to rehab soon. Then the doctor informed us that she knew my mom was dying. If there was nothing they could do to help her, why did she have to spend her last hours in a hospital bed? She would have been much more comfortable at home.
