Word of the posts spread quickly throughout the school and caused outrage among students and their families. Students and their families held unity rallies on and off campus as the school community grappled with the incident.

Some of the students targeted in the posts began to suffer in various ways, including losing sleep and missing days of school. Many students reported to administration that they were too upset to go to class. One student even withdrew from the school altogether.
The school administration responded with various kinds of discipline, and eventually expelled both Epple and Chen.

Both students sued, claiming that the expulsion was a violation of their free speech rights under both the First Amendment and California law. Their lawsuit argued that the Instagram posts had been private, and that like the cheerleader in the recent Fuck school fuck softball fuck cheer fuck everything case, they should have the right to speak freely in an off-campus setting.
In 2021, the Supreme Court ruled 8 to 1 in favor of the cheerleader. The justices found that although her speech had been vulgar, the teen had a right to criticize her school, particularly given that the speech had occurred off-campus and did not risk classmates safety.
However, the 9th Circuit, as had been the district court before it, was clear that Epple and Chens conduct was a far cry from the cheerleaders protected comments.

A three-judge panel which included U.S. Circuit Judge Daniel Collins, a Donald Trump appointee; U.S. Circuit Judge Ronald Gould, a Bill Clinton appointee; and Senior U.S. District Judge Roslyn Silver, another Clinton appointee sitting by designation from the District of Arizona; ruled that the likelihood of substantial disruption of or material interference with school activities in the case was obvious and that the district was well within its rights to expel both students.
Collins wrote the opinion for the unanimous panel, which noted that the posts created havoc at the school. Even students who were not targeted by the posts became distraught and were among a group who spontaneously gathered together, crying and yelling and too upset to go to class,' Collins noted.

The panel made short work of any argument that Epples posts should not have been censored by the school as they might be protected as political ideology. Collins wrote that given that Epple admitted that he posted simply to entertain [his] friends, any claim that they sought to make a political statement rings hollow.

Similarly, the panel smacked down Epples argument that his posts were meant to be private and circulated only among a small group of chosen followers.

Collins wrote called the posts a ticking bomb of vicious targeted abuse that could be readily detonated by anyone following the account, and said Epple should have expected the school to retaliate with discipline.

Got what they deserved.

Michelle Yeoh's character and the dwarf are great. The rest of the characters are meh.

Is it as bad as the Legitimate critic ratings from actual media? RT has it a 33% and my friend seems to think it's appropriate.

This is the part that makes this confusing. You don't bring your new girlfriend/boyfriend to meet your parents after only two months. You barely know each other. Thinking you've earned the right feels like those people that think everyone they date is "the one" and they don't want to wait to let it play out a bit.

In that same vein, it's typically abnormal to move in with someone after two months. So, you are on a strange trajectory. Good luck.

The girl is likely in need of a place to stay for the time beingits an old game.

What rights does my friend have? He has no reason to think she would deprive him of being able to see his hypothetical child, but all the same he might take comfort in knowing he would still be legally entitled to at least some parental rights.

Differs slightly state to state but if he wants to be a father, he will have to go to court most likely. While if they were married or actually dating he'd be presumed the father, they're not. In most states fathers have no rights in his situation until paternity is established. Don't let him be a dumbass about this. NO "trust" her, "work it out" or verbally agree on jack shit. It all needs to be handled in court as soon as that kid's blood can be tested.

they usually are. Dogs that are deemed too dangerous or unfit to be around other people or dogs are put down.

It happened to my dads dog when he lost his house.

Sometimes they're sent to no kill shelters and "rehabilitated" and adopted back out. One story about a pit killing its owner was one such case, she adopted the dog, had to bring it back because of aggression to others and other animals. She would go visit the dog frequently at the shelter and it killed her one day. Probably an ex-fighter that should have been destroyed on the spot.

There is really no federal laws about this stuff so no standards, everything is different from town to town in how aggressive dogs get handled.

No, there should be laws on how they can be legally obtained(crack down on backyard breeders) and who owns them(felons, sjw "dog moms" who can't control them, etc.) as well as how they're housed. Legally requiring education, physical walking tests with adult dogs and a license to own pitbulls and other dangerous dogs breeds should be no problem for you "good owners" out there. Some rules like this exist for pitbulls in some places in the US, we just need them expanded and to include all states. Also former fighting dogs need to be put down or permanently housed in a shelter.

Some cities in the United States have banned Rottweilers under breed specific laws. For example, Collins, Mississippi, has a citywide ban on Rottweilers and pit bulls. The DogsBite website offers a complete listing of cities that ban Rottweilers and other breeds. These bans have been ruled constitutional by both federal and state courts. The bans are because of fears that some people have about Rottweilers. Although the facts are debatable, some people are concerned that all Rottweilers are bred to attack and that their owners can't control them adequately.

Some communities choose not to ban Rottweilers but rather place restrictions on owners of the dogs or charge them fees. In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, owners of dogs whose breeding is half or more Rottweiler must keep the dog within a yard with a fence tall enough to contain it or keep the dog in a kennel that meets specific requirements. Anyone who walks a Rottweiler must be 16 or older and big enough to handle the dog. In Corinth, Mississippi, Rottweilers are defined by city statute as vicious animals. As of 2012, anyone who owns a vicious animal in Corinth must have a $25,000 insurance policy covering liability if the dog attacks someone. Owners must get special permits before keeping a vicious animal in Corinth.

In cities where Rottweilers aren't banned, some housing communities and apartment complexes have site-specific regulations in place that don't allow residents to own Rottweilers. In Queens, New York, people who live in city-run housing can't keep Rottweilers, pit bulls or Doberman pinschers on the property. The ban was put in place after other residents complained the dogs were too vicious. In Laurel, Maryland, an apartment complex made the news in November 2012 after it told a disabled resident who used a Rottweiler as service dog that she had to leave or give up the dog because the breed was banned from the apartment.

These kinds of measure just need to be expanded to more places, and again this doesn't even only apply to pits. You guys can keep coping though. It is blind crusaderism on your part.
