There's 3 pools of cards that are the same for everyone but the order you get cards in the pool is random. You'll get everything in pool 1 before you see a pool 2 card then pool 3.

You'll have the whole collection around 3000 collection level btw so just plan for that.

Whenever they release a new location (once a week) it's hot for 48 hours (60% chance to appear) then it goes back to normal. There's also a different featured location weekends every week for 48 hours that has a 40% chance to appear I believe.

There's a busted combo to abuse the hot location right now (Sinister Bar). You play Nightcrawler to fill up the location then on turn 5 you move one away and play Blue Marvel. Then on Turn 6 you move them all away and fill the location with Onslaughts. 3 Onslaughts with Blue Marvel gives all of your cards +1000 power.

Just make sure to play some 2 drops and 3 drops to get around Killmonger.

As someone with an expensive gamer chair my only advice is don't get a gamer chair, get an office chair. These gamer chairs have absolutely 0 airflow so you'll get hot easily.

I actually liked FF13 more than most people but I couldn't tell you a single thing about the overall plot beyond what you'd find on the back of the box.

I feel like video game companies would value the time saved over using AI versus real people.

Also live service games could add new voices quickly without having to book the VO or try to have the VO record lines for characters and interactions that don't exist yet. Like in a fighting game where the VO has to record lines against all of the DLC characters that might ever be added to the game.

Maybe I'm wrong that VO is a quick process but being able to do that stuff passively seems like the biggest draw to using AI in an industry that depends on crunch and deadlines.

Snap doubles the amount of cubes that are at stake for the match.

So normally a game is worth 1 cube and then it doubles to 2 cubes at the end of turn 6.

If you snap you're basically saying "I can win this game" so you're raising the stakes to be 2 cubes (which still doubles to turn 4 on turn 6).

If your opponent ALSO thinks they can win then they'll snap too which will raise the stakes to 4 cubes (which doubles to 8 at the end of the game).

If someone retreats before the end of turn 6 then the winner gets the current amount. But you can also leave after your opponent snaps to basically refuse raising the stakes. Then you get to escape with 1 cube instead of raising the stakes for the rest of the game.

You need 10 cubes to go up in rank so you're basically betting your rank on winning/losing.

It sounds like you don't think AI will ever be as good as a person but the boring dystopia that everyone in this topic is pointing to is under the assumption that we're in a world where the AI is good enough or better than using a person. What then?

Uhhh I've got some bad news for you in about 3-5 years.

30fps is fine for a game until you switch to 60fps (if it has that option). Then 30fps feels like you're playing underwater in comparison.

They also hyped up the paraglider like it would be half as useful or interesting as the glider in BoTW and it's just not.

Also endgame gameplay spoilers you unlock the ability to ride on giant birds at the VERY END of the game. So they saved the best/coolest movement option until the game is basically over.

I tried HZD recently when they gave it for free and it felt insanely dated. But that's was mostly due to design. There's a lot of new open world lessons they could apply there. If they remake it with new graphics and same design, it's gonna be a total waste.

Don't worry they didn't fix any of the problems in the sequel.
