I remember them being a primary focus of the documentary, but it seemed like every time it got to the point where they may have found something, it turned out that their efforts really didn't do much even though they were treated like they did. They had MK1 and Street Fighter II Champion Edition next to each other, rigged so you played on a big projected screens. Odd story I went and saw it on opening day. Just had a random day off, so I was looking at the showtimes and figured Id go see it. The 3pm, 3:15pm, 3:30pm, and 3:45pm shows were all sold out. There was also a 3:20pm show and it was completely empty. I booked it, went to the show, and I somehow got a private screening on opening day for a giant blockbuster of a movie. The only thing I can think about is that people instinctively look at the quarter hours? Makes no sense to me. I even had to go to the front desk and ask them to start the movie, because all of the lights were on in my theater, and they werent playing any ads or coming attractions - it was just a blank screen. I took a screenshot of my AMC app, 20 minutes after start time to prove it to my friends.
