Bodycam footage has shown the moment police discovered former U.S. soccer star Hope Solo passed out in a North Carolina parking lot with her 2-year-old twins asleep in the back seat.

The footage, from Winston-Salem Police Officer A.J. Sereiks camera and obtained by Queen City News, shows the moment the officer pulls up in front of a black GMC Yukon in the Walmart parking lot on March 31, 2022.

The former athlete refused a sobriety test and engaged in an argument with the officers as her children began crying in the backseat. Solo repeats she was just taking a nap.

The video cuts off after the second officer, G.J. Mager, yanks Solo from the car and arrests her for resisting, delaying, and obstructing of an officer.

After refusing a sobriety test, a warrant-issued blood test found she was three times over the legal limit.

I underestimated what a destructive part of my life alcohol had become, Solo later wrote in a statement on Instagram. I made a huge mistake. Easily the worst mistake of my life.

The former goalkeeper pleaded guilty and was convicted of driving while impaired.

I wouldn't quite say LiS is a queerbait game. There's the option to kiss Chloe at the end, and she reciprocates your feelings. The ending where you're driving away from Arcadia Bay can either be friendly or romantic depending on that. I think there's also an option when you're dancing to punk music in Chloe's room that you can go for a kiss too, though idk if that one actually goes through.

Now granted, LiS WAS going to be queerbait. Apparently DONTNOD had just written them as close, quippy former friends with no romantic intentions on Max's part. The Chloe/Max pairing basically ruling over the game's fandom with an iron fist is what got the devs to reconsider, especially since Chloe was already a lesbian and it would offer a different route for players to go down instead of just Warren, which is a great choice for player agency.

DONTNOD were also not hitting the sales figures Square Enix wanted, so if they fucked up the relationship, LiS was going to come and go faster than a Taco Bell fart - even with the positive PR of Chloe/Max, they were under by a fair bit, during an era where Tomb Raider selling 3 million copies for Squeenix was a disappointment for them.

I wouldn't call LiS a queerbait game, though I'm down to hear why it might be.

Made a tier list of Pokemon gym leaders and trial captains based off my Nuzlocke experiences. Basically, S means they can wipe without some serious planning and team building and even then luck can still be a factor. A needs a strategy and some team building. B can generally be winged but there's some strategy needed and the likelihood of at least losing 1 thing is pretty high so knowing when to sac and maintain tempo is important. C is generally safe, most are far enough into the game that you'll have a lot of options and even if you don't specifically counter them you should be fine with the better things you can invest in that you have available. Still might KO something with bad luck or a bad play. D is pretty much a free fight, in some cases the gym trainers or routes leading to them are more dangerous but otherwise there's not much need to plan since even just a super effective thing in your team can usually take out the most dangerous things on their team.

A Florida father is suing his sons school district after two LGBTQ pride flags were hung in one of his seventh-grade childs classrooms, alleging that the school district violated the states Parents Bill of Rights, a new Florida education law banning classroom discussions of sexual orientation or gender identity.

The father, Francisco Deliu of West Palm Beach, Fla., claimed in a complaint filed earlier this month that his 12-year-old sons computer science teacher, Rachel Raos, tried to indoctrinate her students at Emerald Cove Middle School by displaying LGBTQ pride flags and promoting homosexual lifestyles.

According to the complaint, Delius son on Sept. 16 told his parents that Raos had hung two rainbow pride flags in her classroom and attempted to impose her own belief system on her students by using a search engine to find websites about LGBTQ identities and issues.

Deliu in the lawsuit condemned Raoss actions, which he said do not align with his familys Christian-Orthodox faith, which considers homosexuality to be a sin.

I felt that was improper because I dont send my child to that school to be taught homosexuality and taught gay pride, Deliu told NBC-affiliate WPTV in West Palm Beach this week. I thought we sent children to school to learn reading, writing, and arithmetic.
