Was that in the dlc? Granted, I wasn't playing eternal with a particular focus on the story, but I didn't skip anything I feel like there was no mention of heaven anywhere in the base game.

It was a major part of the base game. But it's not exactly Heaven, just a realm by the name of Urdak. Of course it does draw influence from the idea of Heaven to work in tandem with the game's version of Hell. The primary antagonist is the leader of the Maykrs (the inhabitants of Urdak).

Eternal can be a bit confusing because you're jumping around not only between Earth and Hell, but also Argent D'Nur (a completely separate realm) and Urdak. I'm not sure if I'd consider that to be Eternal's big plot twist though. The Khan Maykr even shows up right at the beginning of Eternal, and I believe they explain what her deal is early on too.

Hopefully the Astros will choke again vs. yet another NL East team they're favored over.

I did get Ultrakill recently though and will likely be playing that soon.

Whoever got SOTN onto Xbox Live Arcade was a genius. I never would have played it otherwise.

One of my favorite games of all time. I still haven't replayed it in full though. I've recently considered trying it with the Randomizer to see if that works well for SOTN.

Ultimately the music might be the best part of the game. Possibly the most memorable video game soundtrack for me.

They're a stagnant organization in need of a major reshuffle. So even though they've continued to be one of the best teams in the regular season they've consistently failed in the playoffs for years. They're particularly bad against the Astros and even worse against the Astros in Minute Maid Park. Looking like 2017 and 2019 again.

Good thing for Astros haters is that the Astros offense is not looking great right now either. The series is going to Yankee Stadium where the Yankees should do better. And their two best starters are pitching the next two games. So there's reasons to be somewhat optimistic, but it's still not looking great.

Self-checkout is always the superior option.

That might have been one of the worst ump performances I've ever seen. But the Yankees lost that one all on their own. 17 strikeouts is bad. The lineup needs some major tinkering.

Verlander getting lots of help from the ump, but the dude's still unquestionably great.

I only recently stopped wearing my mask at work. I may put it back on when the holidays really start kicking into gear, but I'm not sure. It's nice not having it on anymore and I did get the booster recently.

I thought that trade was really bizarre and dumb at the time. And while I'd probably rather have Montgomery starting this game over Taillon, Bader has been awesome this postseason. He was a nice addition at the end of the season for sure.

Judge bailed Taillon out hard there.

I prefer lettuce, but spinach is a decent replacement for everything you'd put lettuce on/in. But still, I'd rather have lettuce.

Verlander was awful in his first start, so hopefully his struggles continue. But the Yankees have always had trouble with him and Astros pitching in general.

And man Zack Wheeler is incredible. Hell of a pitching performance tonight.

I'll probably watch it at some point, but it didn't look interesting enough to watch immediately.

I thought the Yankees might be able to finally overcome the Astros this year, but it's hard to still believe that after the terrible loss last night. Even if they do manage to come back and win the series.

The Guardians I'm not sure about. They've been playing well, but I'm not sure if their offense will be enough to beat the Astros. The Mariners really might have been the best bet in the AL for beating the Astros. They did go down without winning a game, but they didn't make it easy.

Might need to rely on the NL team to take them out once again.

It is just a piece of metal after all.

Looks like it'll be another off-season where every Yankees fan will be calling for Cashman to get fired. The organization is rotten. Has been for a long time.

They've come back against Cleveland before in the postseason, so it's not over. But that's certainly a horrid loss.

cal, i love you, but no. please, no. these games are the games you never forget. despite the outcome going the wrong way, my most memorable game in my 30 years watching this sport is the "Jerry Meals says it's safe" 19 inning game. the tension building inning after inning is the best feeling in the world.

A lot of people who were totally against the ghost runner may have changed their opinion after this game and the other one last week.

I still don't like it, but also 17 innings is utterly ridiculous.

Fawful Express was terrible but somehow all the Giant Boss Battles in Dream Team were worse. They felt painfully long. I think I failed one of them and felt like I had set back an hour.

Dream Team is good but you should play Superstar Saga and Bowser's Inside Story before it. And like others said, probably best to stick to the original versions of those. I'm sure the remakes aren't bad, but certainly there's something really charming about those GBA graphics for Superstar Saga.

We're only about 13,000 years away from humanity reaching its technological zenith. And then space Elves are going to ruin it when their decadent and hedonistic society collapses and gives birth to Slaanesh.

It's really good. Best campaign since Reach. The open world may not be for everyone and it was the aspect of the campaign I was most skeptical about at first. But I think they made it work.

No, but playable Zelda would be cooler.

I've been to Sears maybe once in my life.

I used to go to Kmart to buy games. It was a crappy store, but it always seemed to have better availability for games than other retailers.

Doubt it. Gonna be a lot harder to have a drought that long with an extra Wild Card spot now. At least if you're a franchise that actually does try to win, which the Mariners are. Consistently penny-pinching loser teams like the Pirates might reach 20 years though.

It sounds like the Mariners just gave it to them. Bringing in Robbie Ray who's been struggling versus one of the best hitters in baseball.

So Verlander and Fried both sucked today. The Astros are losing and the Braves just lost. I wonder if the bye really did mess with some of these guys.

No big deal if you get Revali's Gale early. But yeah, it's pretty annoying otherwise. It's nice that you can at least easily make campfires as long as you've got some cover from the rain.

The Mets just needed to win one game against the Braves in that last series with them and they could have avoided this.

But they also have a very rich owner who is going to spend a lot of money this offseason. The Mets will be in the postseason again soon. Their finish this year reminds me very much of the Yankees failing to make the World Series since 2009.

Anyway, I thought Guardians, Phillies, Blue Jays, and Mets would advance. So only got 2 out of 4 there.

I just didn't like it. The Force Awakens managed to be enjoyable despite it being so safe. But The Last Jedi was just bizarre to me when I first watched it. Killed my interest in the sequel trilogy so much that I didn't watch Rise of Skywalker till a year after release. And that movie was just complete nonsense. I haven't rewatched any of the movies and I don't plan to, but oddly enough The Last Jedi is only one I've grown to appreciate slightly in hindsight. There were some things it did that I liked, but the stuff I hated overshadowed everything when I first watched.

I don't really think it's a big deal overall that the Sequel Trilogy wasn't all that great. Disney has done a very nice job with Star Wars since. There's no need to put any of the movies on a pedestal when the rest of the franchise has so much shit in it. Between all the movies, games, shows, and books there's at least something there for you to enjoy. If not, you probably just don't like Star Wars.

Yeah dumb move to have him get checked. I don't know why he'd legitimately think they'd find anything. And if it was just to throw him off or something it clearly didn't work either.

I like how the Phillies-Cards game has basically lapped the Mets-Padres one.

The robo umps will come eventually, just not soon enough for most people. They're still trying to work out the kinks.

Man this has been some really awful umpiring in this Padres-Mets game. Normally I don't care too much about bad ball and strike calls. It's actually amusing watching people get so mad about them. But this is has been absolutely putrid.

If the Mets and Yankees get eliminated, I want to see the Mariners win, so that's nice. But man I do feel bad for both AL East teams that got eliminated today. These best of 3 series are tense.

Man that was rough to watch.

I am! I put it on heroic and wow, it's damn tough. I wish I had put it on normal because this is certainly a challenging game. But I'm too far into the game to restart. The A.I. is very intelligent for an old ass game. Never played an FPS, huh? Wow, you got some backlog to catch up on.

The AI is definitely one of the strong points of the series. It's especially impressive in the first game.

The only two I could see them using in this film are Peach (already confirmed) and Pauline. Also, this short trailer didn't really show much at all, all things considered.

Toadette would have been an easy and obvious character to throw in and I'm surprised they didn't. Unless they added more to the cast since they first revealed it.
