Playing some more, my wrists are getting very tired from the size of this thing. I have to struggle for my thumbs to reach the joysticks, and it's not super comfortable. I didn't think it'd be this big. While good for the screen, it just doesn't feel too comfortable to hold.

Steam deck feels perfect size to me.
Also it's a lot more comfortable to me since it actually has grips.

No such thing. When a game isn't released in early access it's like saying this is the finished product and that's as good as it's going to get. I'm always willing to wait for a superior product rather than a buggy mechanically broken game (coughcallistoprotocalcough).

what I like about Griftlands so much is the style of it, the artwork is just fun and the setting and characters are all really cool, and theres so much to sink your teeth into with the gameplay

I was severely off put by the art style of monster slayers. I own it but I'm just so turned off by it.

I really want to try Grift lands.. I trust it's good because it's made by Klei who made Don't Starve (One of the best wilderness survival games I've ever played with a Tim Burtonesque twist and oh Oxygen not Included, also one of the best colony Sims I've ever played).
