Do you pursue them still?

You might want to rethink how you "pursue" them. Talking to them directly is probably useless. Give them a warning that you will go public all over social media about this person not paying you back your money. You can take this further by contacting their family, workplace, landlord etc. I'm not telling you what to do, just saying how you could take this further, if you really want your money.

Made a loaf of "no knead dark bread" last night, which I baked this morning. Let it cool down for 30 minutes and then made some "avocado-tomato-garlic bread". What do you think?

Making the bread took literally less than 60 seconds. Combining the 4 ingredients (flour, salt, yeast, water) for 30 seconds till homogenous, overnight rise, folding onto itself for roughly 20 seconds, and then into the oven it went.

Bread dough:
384g of dark flour (white flour works great too)
354ml hot water
2 teaspoons of salt
0.25 teaspoon of powdered yeast
-Mixed with spatula until homogenous
-Airtight container overnight (3 hours at the very least)
-Fold edges of dough onto self
-Place in preheated (450f/232c) dutch oven (or regular ovenproof pot, if you don't have one) for 30 minutes
-Remove lid of pot/dutch oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes
-Rest for 15-30mins

Toppings:
Avocado spread: Large avocado, salt, juice from half a lime
Finely chopped cherry tomatoes
Pinch of salt and pepper

I wouldn't be surprised if GRRM is lying about his involvement from seasons 5 and onwards to keep interest in his next novel high.

Countries need to fucking stand up to China man instead of fear of being blackballed by China.. this is ridiculous China is bullying so many countries into submission.

Problem is that China has an insane amount of leverage over these companies. If they don't apologize for calling Taiwan a country, it risks their product being banned in China, which means that almost 20% of their potential sales in the world will be gone. That will mean countless jobs lost for said company.

As much as I hate China's policy on Taiwan, it makes complete sense to me why people like John Cena or any company apologizes for something as stupid as calling Taiwan a country (which it clearly is, btw!).

Breh ur amazing. Chrono24 is a reliable website?

Also a gold watch would only be worn with a suit so it would be worn maybe a few times a year.

I've bought many high end watches there up to 5 figures worth. All other watch sites like crown and caliber, watchbox, Bucherer pre owned etc. are all also on Chrono24. Chrono24 is the benchmark for buying watches online, I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the detailed post. Quick question, any reason anyone would specifically want a swiss brand? I'm actually leaning towards Tissot and Hamilton myself. I just happen to love their style.

Right now all I have is a brown leather Skagen. I really this one Tissot brown leather that I posted about a few weeks ago but was hesitant because I didn't know much about the brand.

I'm also looking for a gold band/dial watch to wear with a navy suit.

There can be many reasons someone would buy a Swiss brand. Reasons usually vary from prestige, history, reliability, recognition, exclusivity etc.

I personally would look at all brands including German and Japanese brands, especially at the price range you mentioned. Go for a Swiss watch if the design and craftsmanship of the respective watch speaks to you. Buying a watch these days is hardly a rational decision, so I highly recommend you try the watch on and go with your gut. If there's a dealer near you where you can try the watch on, then do that. If there isn't a dealer, then buy your watch on chrono24. There is a 2 week no questions asked return period if you end up thinking the watch doesn't look good in person. The Swiss dominate the industry but that doesn't mean they are always the best choice. Having said that, Tissot and Hamilton are both very good choices.

Be careful when looking at gold watches, as the cheaper ones (within the price range you mentioned) will be gold plated. Gold plated watches are a poor choice because after years of micro scratches, the plating will wear off and the watch case & bracelet will look bad. If you're really keen on a gold watch, then look into bronze. The listing below is an Oris (great Swiss brand, privately held) for about a grand with shipping. Brown / black calf straps will look killer on this watch, might be something to consider!

https://www.chrono24.com/oris/big-crown-pointer-date--id24176526.htm

Something else to consider: Look into vintage watches! For the price range you mentioned, there are some incredible deals to be had. Value wise they have been climbing like crazy in the last couple of years. You can get an Omega time only or time & date with a mechanical movement for less than a grand (see below). They are still undervalued and will last you a lifetime. Buy a nice new calf leather strap for $50 and the watch will look incredible.

Price range $200 - $1000

What kind of watch are you looking for? Analog or digital? If you're looking into digital then Casio G-Shock is your best bet. For analog, keep reading.

In terms of value Seiko dominates this price range. Look into the Seiko Prospex line of watches. They range from $500-1000 and house the 6R35 movement, which is a very reliable movement, 3 days power reserve, hacking seconds (seconds hand stops when crown is pulled out), automatic movement with a manual wind function as well.

If you're looking at $200-500, check their Sports line "Seiko 5 Sports". These have a cheaper movement with a 40 hour power reserve. Definitely some cool designs to choose from.

Citizen JUST released their Tsuyosa line of watches a few days ago. They are fantastic watches with insane value, however the design is a ripoff of the following Rolex models: Oysterquartz, Datejust, President, Oyster Perpetual. If you don't mind them looking like a Rolex, then you won't be disappointed as they punch well above their weight in terms of case & bracelet finishing, movement quality as well as dial quality.

If you're looking for something from a Swiss brand, Hamilton and Tissot are excellent value as well in this category. Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic (Swiss ETA movement) can be had for under $500. The Tissot PRX houses the Swatch Group's 80 hour power reserve movement and has a very cool integrated bracelet design.

If you want my 2 cents, avoid watch brands like Fossil, Michael Kors, MVMT, Daniel Wellington, Calvin Klein etc. they are pretty bad value wise. These are what you would classify as fashion watches. They are made to look good, but in terms of quality are quite poor.

I agree with you TC, however I think it's mostly due to the game being so big. If you're a completionist and want to see everything the game has, you're inevitably going to be overpowered. I'm a little bit bothered by this, but it technically isn't the game's fault. I'm not even trying by this point, literally just mowing down and big enemy / boss that comes at me, not even really focusing. I do love this game, but definitely not the same way I enjoy other Soulsborne games.
