As someone who grew up playing the competitors to blizzard games (Command and Conquer over war/starcraft, Eve Online over wow, Torchlight over diablo, ect..), I never understood the love they got from people. I always held the opinion they were massively overrated and got undeserve praise for their games.

Bagel sandwiches have a tendency to be too tough for their ingredients. The bread integrity is too strong and when you go to bite, instead of just cutting through you squich the sandwich middle and push it out the sides, this is especially true with stuff like BE&C bagles.

Any car that has a stock transmission/clutch from the mid 1990's and up has an EZ light clutch that is a nothingburger to press in. Hell, my buddy's jeep gladiator's clutch is amazingly light for the size of the vehicle it's in.

My last 3 cars have been manual. I'll opt for that as long as I can before getting forced into an automatic.

First sale doctrine only works if the game doesn't tie itself to a product key or alternative way of licensing itself to a user account which absolutely is a thing and one of the big reasons why gamestop's second hand market has completely tanked the past 10 years.

The whole "I own what's on the disc" argument was already settled decades ago in the courts, and they didn't side with the consumer on that.

Yeah, reading that he was clearly failed and almost ignored numerous times, despite repeated attempts to get help.

No excuse for what he did however, but just think if the system actually tried to help when he asked then very likely none of this would have happened.

School "councilors" and administrators have never given a shit about the students. They just want to protect their kushy jobs by smoothing things over as much as possible, ignoring problems so they don't "become problems" they have to deal with. Teachers are underpaid and too overworked to honestly give that much of a shit.

Agreed. People are shitting in digital media a lot, but physical media is following the same rules these days. Only difference is you get to physically exert yourself for the same disappointment.

I guess switch is different cause you can go to McDonalds and validate your games once a week.

Not only that, but it's not unheard of for your physical media case/box to be empty, containing only a product key you activate on your PC/console. Additionally, most games receive day 1 patches now to prevent people from acquiring physical media early and playing the game, so the data on the phyical media is useless without downloading the day 1 patch.
