i feel bad for you guys... driving my car was my first true taste of freedom as a teenager. could go anywhere, do anything. no more limits, no more asking for rides, no more other peoples' bullshit.

i still feel that every time i hit the road. me and my charger. i do a decent amount of my own repairs too. don't be scared of your car or the engine or the time you're gonna spend. it's really rewarding, both financially and spiritually, to get under the hood and make shit work.

the only thing i don't like about driving is putting up with impatient dumbshit drivers. i'm a very defensive driver and always got eyes on everyone around me to keep my ass safe. as for gas... i just think of it like a monthly bill. i don't sweat it. i use what i need to use.

Don't insist on improving the broken system. Continue to worsen your quality of life instead. Nobody said this would be fun. Do you REALLY need to drink water from the sink? Turn off your water to save money and collect rain in buckets. You're not pooring correctly. Do you really NEED electricity? Throw your TV in the trash and go steal some books from Goodwill. Need light to read them? What do you want, a fucking lamp? Unbelievable. You're so entitled. Use a candle, or light the rest of what little money you have on fire and use that for both light and warmth. You don't need money anyway. You'd just spend it on avocado toast and stupid things like medical expenses.

wow it's almost like people prefer coherent, progressive stories with character development and an actual story vs. literally just the most random bullshit happening for ten pages at a time across eight different comics just to get the full 'story' which is always just "hero punches the bad guys, big win yaaaay" sixteen times until they finally beat the main big bad guy and then it's "hero and all his super pals punch the bad guy a lot, big win yaaaay" and then it all gets dumpstered and starts over again with a whole new round of comics about all the same characters we've already had stories about eight dozen times

look, i don't really read manga or comics anymore, but comics in the past ten to twenty years have been the most inane bullshit. if i do read one, it's for the art work or very rarely a comic writer took the time to sit down and write something interesting. and even then it won't matter because it'll be AU bullshit that never gets mentioned again for going against the status quo

manga got sucky too imo... still some good ones but large majority is moe shit and isekai shit nowadays. that's why i kinda dumped both mediums.

It is not fun without motion controls or touch controls though. Painting is a big part of the combat and doing it with a thumb stick sucks ass

this is a wild claim. i played it on ps2 originally and found the thumbstick for painting to be very responsive and surprisingly fluid

the Good:

• fantastic art direction
• fantastic music
• interesting gameplay concept
• well-made mechanically

the Bad:

• goofy story
• easier than Wind Waker
• game is twice as long as it had any business being

honestly i love this game to death. it came out during the wait for twilight princess
and while i was only buying it to pass the time waiting for twilight princess
i actually enjoyed okami more between the two, and i say that as a huge zelda fanboy
but that's not to say either is better, both have their strengths and weaknesses

this is the system working as intended. checks and balances against this were never put in place. it's completely legal and fair to play the game this way.
