If an Alpha is present does that mean the smaller version spawns nearby?

Ive found an Alpha Snorlax and an Alpha Torterra but cant find Munchlax or Turtwig nearby. Wondering if they are just rare spawns.

FYI - trying to avoid looking things up

really the only thing that i disliked about the game was the story. just going to a region, battle a frenzied noble Pokmon and so on.

really the only incentive i had to go through the story was to unlock all those extra Pokmon to move me around. most of the time, it didn't bother rushing the story cause i was too busy exploring. lol

also the visuals could definitely be improved but frankly, i've seen worse...

overall, it's easily the best Pokmon game i've played in ages! haven't had this much fun with a Pokmon game since... Pokmon Go i guess. >_>

yeha Im the same. I have skipped the story 100%

I wish theyd take the mechanics of this, have the roster and map of a mainline game and the Pokemon interactions of Snap into one giant game. It would be great

yeah... my only complaint too. and annoyingly enough i just know they could've doubled the pokemon count, but are holding it out for DLC in a few months

Just entered the 4th area

if there is one major complaint I have (and it exists across all Pokemon games except X/Y) its that variety sucks at times.

Ive just entered a brand new area I wonder what Im going to find: and its a bunch of Paras, Shinx and Starly.

The only game that got this right (AFAIK) was X/Y. I feel like that was always throwing new Pokemon at you constantly which made it fun to switch teams.

Ive made a jump across the river in Crimson Mirelands to get to the Cottensedge Prarie area early. Is there a way to save/rest in a camp without returning to the other side of the river?

Im just before the Lilligant section?

Thought this game looked pretty s*** and was not going to get it. Then I ran out of games and decided why not.

This game is pretty damn fun and addicting.

If they could combine all mechanics and gameplay from this, map & roster from a mainline and the Pokemon interactions from Snap, it would make the greatest game Ive played in a long time.
