Did zoomers not have computer classes? I think I learned basic computer stuff from that, and of course by using one at home too

which doesn't surprise me since today you can find most files just by typing the name into spotlight and it'll find it for you. and ios goes out of its way to hide the directory from you. it makes it easy to access the functions and apps of your computer without ever needing to understand the structure beneath

Elliot page didn't "start a rumor." His church IS homophobic. It is a church that has said it is "all inclusive" but also has said it only accepts gay people who "did not follow a "homosexual lifestyle"" and the church considers gay acts sinful.

Don't try to rewrite it as if his church is gay-friendly, because it is not.

Chris pratt had praised his church openly in interviews for years, Elliott simply pointed out that his church treats gay people poorly (which it does...) and asked why he would be promoting them.

In response, Chris didn't actually answer any questions, he just said "no it isn't" which is outright false.

hostility is a pretty common reaction among bigoted people to being told that your attitude is demeaning to gay people

The only assumption I'm making here is that you're even trying to be an ally in the first place. Otherwise, there are no 'assumptions,' just me pointing out that what you said you like to do is homophobic, and that you're being a bad ally.

You might think you're being subversive because "it uses his own homophobia against him" but you aren't. by playing into his homophobia and mocking him as if he were gay, you're just strengthening his stereotypes that being gay is shameful. not tearing them down.

• it's not a clever line or anything, it's a plain-ass "you're gay" insult, you aren't losing anything of value
• it's normal for movie dialog to be edited for tv, this is a nothing-burger.
• maybe if we didn't normalize using gay identities as an insult in our movies, it would be easier for gay people growing up to feel like they aren't being shamed for their identity.

I got one for $14 IIRC. It doesn't cook the rice well at all, but I use it a lot anyway.

A short hike is an obvious buy and it only takes 2 or 3 hours to play. And you still have most of your money left

The Bixby button got rolled into the power button so you just have to hold it, I think.

You can long hold to Open Bixby or open the Power Menu (Power Off/Restart/Emergency Mode. You set an app to a double click of the power button (defaults to opening camera).

on my phone,

when I'm home:
press bixby button: toggles my house lights

when i'm not home:
press bixby button: toggles my music player
long press bixby button: skip backward 30 seconds in my song/audiobook
double press bixby button: skip forward 30 seconds

and i double-click my power button to open my camera

so if I lose the bixby button, I lose some critical features to me
