Yeah, they were doomed to lose the war based on how things went. But if the Axis Powers did win the war, I cant imagine that Germany and Japan would just happily co-exist forever. What do you think how long before they attack each other in that scenario? I played Metroid Prime when it first came out, and the original Metroid like 10 years ago, but otherwise Metroid was a big blind spot for me. I played the through Super Metroid, Samus Returns (3DS), Fusion, and Dread over the last several months for the first time. Id say it was close between Super and Dread, but Id give Super the slight nod. | The_Popo 09/03/22 10:27:10 AM #30 | Not like my opinion carries any weight, since I dont know the pilot and his current thought process, but I think that since he didnt do it right away, the odds of him doing it diminishes with each passing minute. He went up there with a plan, but seemingly has had second thoughts, either as a change of conscience due to innocent lives, or a reconsideration of killing himself in the process. He is likely just frightened now about the ramifications of what he has done, and is prolonging the inevitable (which is either he crashes, or he lands the plane and gets arrested). If the plane runs out of fuel, he can still glide the plane down for a landing. And it will be less dangerous if he has the ability do so safely, since there would be considerably less fuel in the plane, should it actually crash in the process, so hopefully that is how it plays out. The UK sends a squad of 20 elite soldiers with modern tactical weaponry to infiltrate and eliminate the target If he knows that theyre coming he could probably still win. He can cast spells that would render him invisible, mind control the soldiers, create large scale hazards that would take them out in en masse, or simply teleport away from them. It would all be about getting close enough to him without him knowing about it. If you can shoot Voldemort, he will die, horcruxes notwithstanding. Once it go to the part that required me to remove the door panel, I was done with that. | The_Popo 08/31/22 6:20:04 PM #40 | Got it yesterday. Gonna try to platinum it, which is basically just beating all 14 games. Ive beaten 6 so far. Itll be a good excuse to finally beat TMNT1 on NES. So far, Ive gone through TMNT (Arcade) TMNT II: The Arcade Game (NES) TMNT III: Manhattan Project (NES) TMNT Tournament Fighters (NES) TMNT Tournament Fighters (SNES) TMNT Tournament Fighters (Genesis) TMNT II was tougher than I remembered. TMNT III is a game I owned as a kid, but I barely remember anything about it. That game felt like it just was never gonna end. And Id never played the Tournament Fighter games before. NES was fine for the system its on, SNES seems bland today but I woulda loved it as a kid, and Genesis feels like a laggy unplayable mess.
