It's a bluff, but even the bluff should never be used. As increasingly unhinged as Putin is looking, even he knows the result wouldn't be good for Russia if he nuked a NATO country. (It's unclear EXACTLY what would happen - I doubt we'd immediately reduce the entirety of Russia to ash - but the gloves would be off)

It's less clear what would happen if he nuked Ukraine. I assume he'd lose any lingering support he has in the world (I.e. China) and would be a permanent pariah, but I doubt NATO would respond in kind. Here's hoping we don't find out.

So much of US debt is owned to China, they actually stand to benefit if Russia/China can conquer the US. China also has the population to replace a destroyed workforce.

If you're a true American, you are prepared to defend against invaders. Let the Ukraine be the example.

That's why I said "not really". Technically it is, but no one would ask for an ale when they mean a stout or vice versa. They're very distinct things.

So it's an ale. The only distinction is the use of dark malts but a stout is still an ale.

Also very few walk into bars and ask for their finest ale. In philly, you can just order a "lager" and get a yuengling though.

Jen calling the relationship "terminal" was very obviously a joke. You'd have noticed this if you weren't scrambling so desperately to stick to your original efforts to insult her.
