I think they were referring to how some mass shootings get emphasized and covered extensively while others do not. Although a lot of times I believe it has more to do with the number of fatalities.

Take the shooting in Oklahoma that got about half a a day of coverage. Some people would probably say the media is sweeping it under the rug because it doesnt fit the narrative, but the much simpler explanation is that despite nine people being shot only one died. A tragedy, but it isnt going to get the clicks, so the media will naturally focus on other things.

Is the theory that the cops lied about the person they arrested owning up to it, or did they beat the statement out of him?

There have been a couple of mall shootings near me the last few years. I think it has more to do with the decline of malls more than anything.

Its a four day old thread so I doubt theyll be any more information. Although Im going to go out on a limb and assume this person lived with them until they were 30, and had they were weighing out her meals under the instructions from a physician.

Every school Ive been to in the past decade always has all the doors locked from the inside, and the only way in is by getting buzzed in through one centralized door, which is usually where the school resource officer is. Did this school not have a similar system?

Is it due to guns becoming illegal to own? Id certainly consider it, but not until politicians and the wealthy give up their guns and armed security as well.

Then during a speech Biden bumped it up to ultra maga. Then people on the right ran with it.

The combat ruined it for me. It is so bad that I always tried to end a play session with one because I knew I wouldnt go back to play it if I knew that was the first thing Id have to do.

Then one day, I ended a play session just as a combat section was beginning, and I never went back.

Education and intelligence are two completely separate things. You can be a doctor, and still be an idiot.
I have personally met a handful of doctors who were well below average IQ. Coincidentally, they all work for the VA.
So yes, if you have the money to pay for the schooling, you can be a doctor.

I highly doubt youve met MDs with below average IQ. More than likely, you have a skewed perception of what someone with average intelligence is like. You probably think there are people with below average intelligence who post on this board. A lot of people here probably think that.

Watched the whole season last night.

I also fall in to the category of loved season one, season two not so much.

This latest season is fantastic and there are at least a few that are top tier.

Bad Traveling is quite possibly my favorite episode out of all the seasons. The follow-up to Three Robots was really good, although the punchline at the end was kind of eye-rolly. Kill Team Kill was also awesome, as was Swarm. Even the ones I didnt mention were at least good, and some might like them even more.

I havent gotten into the miniatures but Ive dabbled in the PnP version. It has one of the coolest job systems Ive ever seen. None of this heres a wizard, a knight, a priest and a master thief, but more like heres a charcoal maker, a rat catcher, a gambler and a farmer.
