So I've been over slowlier making my way through the Wings reaction stream and this thing I just saw is... amazing.

Wings said Keemstar should die or some stupid shit and Keemstar forced Wings to an interview on threat of reporting him to Twitch otherwise. So they're talking about Wings' issues and Keem says that Wings needs to stop being a victim all the time and take some responsibility for his life instead of blaming trolls.

Phil pauses for the 500th time and says "You can't just stop being a victim when everyone on the entire internet is against you." Massive projection. "Wings is even a victim of Keemstar in this situation with Keem forcing him on his podcast. Keemstar should have been mature and ignored the threat against him."

In the same fucking breath he excuses Wings (the DSP surrogate) as a perpetual victim WHO DID NOTHING WRONG, DID EVERYTHING CORRECT by not ignoring trolls and bad actors who say mean shit on the internet, and at the same time attack Keemstar, his arch nemesis, for not being mature enough to ignore people who say shit about him on the internet.

Within 30 seconds. No deep breaths between. Not even a snort between the two claims.

In the same breath he also says Keem has zero self awareness and is a hypocrite.

Shinguji was my favourite character in NDRV3 for the first 2 and most of chapter 3. I just loved that there was a character whose dialogue was almost entirely about their talent rather than their personal life. And it was god damn interesting too. Loved them.

I mostly like Mahiru not because she is some great character in her own right, but she feels like an actual person and not an anime caricature. She's has some quirky views on boy girl interactions like someone in a set of new characters you meet might have. Like that one kind of sheltered Christian girl in a new class. She's willing enough to get to know you without basically jumping down your shirt to get the bonding going like everyone else, which is really weird given the setting. She questions stuff rather than just going with the flow like when Fatogami says he's the leader and everyone is just saying sure whatever. I love her design and how down to earth it is which further enhances those values compared to... literally everyone fucking else who wear crazy shit or are basically in a uniform telling the audience what they do for a living. She really feels in tune with her talent in an intrinsic way. Gundham being a (hamster) breeder makes sense through his dialogue about that concept and why its important to him. With Mahiru I just feel everything she says oozes "photographer" without actually talking about that subject.

Plus she's a redhead so I could have been making everything I just said up and she'd still be the best girl.
