Men and women just have different dating problems. I'll take the problems men face dating any day of the week though. Women have to be on high alert for abusive/rapey weirdos. Men that aren't super attractive will have a harder time getting a date and generally feel more pressure to impress/woo their date

Women are watching put for psychopaths and men are trying to appear desirable basically lol

Yeah like dating sucks for most people but the negative aspects definitely affect women in more severe ways.

People who have unrealistic standards based on what they bring to the table is what I see 9/10 when men are complaining about online dating. It's interesting you guys are choosing only the looks comparisons when I've discussed multiple facets of personality when it comes to online dating. A lot of these men are fixated on appearance. I guarantee that these men making these complaints aren't going for ugly women because they believe they are allowed to have standards while being below average. Which is their prerogative but it's why you have issues. Why would a beautiful, successful and independent woman want to be with a bitter and likely unattractive man?

You could think of it that way. I choose to think that my boring ass tedious job is just what I need to toil away at so I can fund my own personal lifestyle and enjoyment. I decided to give up on career fulfillment and understand my job is just a means to my ends. It makes it less difficult to get through a day lol

Yeah the only way to get a really big raise anymore is to job hop but doesn't it kind of look poorly on your resume? What do you say to explain how many jobs you've had the last 5 years or so? Just say personal circumstances?

These are the kind of soldiers that know how to escalate and de-escalate any situation. That they are the only ones that got hurt shows they let the other side live.

They apparently weren't de-escalated enough if they were in a confrontation. You have to understand that people kill each other here for cutting them off in traffic. It's entirely possible they did something they thought was benign but wasn't to someone. It's possible they were victims of random gun violence. That is the nature of being here. That's why it wouldn't make anyone think extra about the fact it was Dutch soldiers. Anyone here can get shot.

We just aren't surprised anymore. We just kind of think...another day, another shooting.

If you do visit mind your own business and avoid getting in fights.

I mean if your off duty soldiers were in a fight over something earlier.. They're in America. People solve problems with gun violence here. You need to be aware of the culture of where you're visiting and act smart. I'm glad they're okay it seems. I hope the third one is okay too. But yes, that is our culture here. Don't visit.
