We have a ton of pictures of our family and I'm super paranoid about losing them someday. I move them from my phone to my computer and then back them up on an external hard drive. I'm still (maybe irrationally) worried that both the computer and hard drive will fail me or corrupt all our files.

Am I probably okay doing what I'm doing or is there a better way I could be protecting against losing everything?

For me, I get social anxiety after making most topics; I overthink every interaction I have, like down to the micro level. That stuff about people not thinking about you after a given exchange if they don't know you? Never really clicked with me. So most of the time I just pussy my way out.

It's not even for controversial topics, just conversational ones too
