I havent defended these cops, I pointed out that somebody in this thread was purposefully ignoring part of the statistics around gun usage and spouting an old lie. Neither of those things have anything to do with this particular situation.

You can call me a gun shill to distract from what you posted all you want, but thats just as much of a lie as your other claim. I am vocal in my belief that the 2nd should be repealed and gun access should be greatly limited.

I read the first, I dont know, 8 to 10 books back in high school but didnt keep up with the series after that. That was 20+ years ago now so I didnt have a great memory of all the little details, which probably helped me enjoy the show a bit more than if I had been able to pick out those small changes. It wasnt amazing or anything, but it was good enough that Ill watch more in the future. I liked the visuals of the magic system and am curious to see how the taint changes things up.

The stats do not prove him wrong because guns are, in fact, used defensively a lot of times. That it is not the most frequent thing m, due to too many people not being properly trained and licensed to have a gun, does not mean it doesnt happen.

Maybe the issue is that you have a problem with trying to take something that means one thing and twist it to mean something else. Also know as lying, or spreading false information. If female officers were available they should have done the search. If not then that just sucks but when somebody is found to have weapons on them that they didnt tell the police about then they need to get searched immediately.

I dont have contact with any of my family any more, mostly because my parents retired and became raging drunks and most of the family wouldnt acknowledge anything was wrong and it blew up everything.

Also my cousin and her baby daddy were some of my closest friends in life in the past, but they slowly descended into hardcore shooting up style meth addiction.
