Lol I've constantly seen people cause scenes here when they feel slighted. Even at work.

In my office at work, there's only one guy there. We were all talking about it and with us, it was pretty split down the middle of support for Will but the guy said he'd never do that if he was in the same situation.

So that's turned into a running gag where we now make the most ludicrous and unbelievable hypotheticals to see if he'd defend his girlfriend.

So far, he's been okay with her being abducted by aliens and possessed by demons.

Vipey argue for people having consequences for spewing racist/homophobic/etc..type shit.

He's said that Will was in the wrong but this was an issue between just two people and they have seemed to squashed it.

Him being a hypocrite would be if Will Smith said something negative about a whole group of people and Vipey defended him.

No it's not really whataboutism. Jimmy Carey has done selfish things in his work on Man on the Moon and Kick Ass 2 that showed how unprofessional he could be at the expense of others.

Hey baldness and bullying sucks, but I don't like how people are treating it like she has some horrible disease (unless she actually does have one and the hair loss is a side effect, which I'm genuinely trying to find out). People make jokes about celebrities with big noses or whatever. It's in poor taste, but I don't like people acting like "OMG how could he?"

It's also more difficult to garner a ton of sympathy knowing ahead of time that Jada's an asshole. Whole fucking "boycotting the Oscars cause my husband's mediocre performance didn't get nominated" bullshit.

Never said shit about the GI Jane joke. People on this site and plenty of others are making jokes about it like it's no big deal when this just happened less than a week ago in my home state.

Even the Alopecia Awareness non-profit posted that story in conjunction with Jada to show how this does hurt people.

I'm not saying shit about Chris Rock. I'm not saying Jada went through the same stuff that poor girl did at the ceremony. I'm saying the way A LOT of people are acting in response to this are doing the same stuff those two women in the articles and that little girl have gone through their whole lives.

Lol yeah an elephant would fuck up a hippo. There's another video where an elephant does the same thing as the one in the link I posted. It just stands in the middle of the lake and a hippo tries to bite it's tail and legs. The elephant eventually gets annoyed and lightly mule kicks it and the hippo stops.

Next to no one is actually scared or intimidated by the North here. They are constantly posturing but never do anything.

There have been water skirmishes which have resulted in deaths, but they never lead to anything more serious or come close to actual warfare. And the last time they had one of those issues was back in 2010.

It was early on in the pregnancy, she wasn't showing at that point. She went to her mom as soon as she realized she was pregnant and her mom figured the abortion plan at the earliest time they could have done it.

We had quite a few pregnancies and pregnancy scares in school. The most vivid one I remember was my friend that was a year behind me got pregnant by her then boyfriend. The main issue is we lived in a very small, conservative town and her family was Mormon so even more so.

She ended up telling her mom and she actually took it a lot better than expected. She lied to her husband saying they were doing a mother-daughter trip out of state for a weekend and they got her an abortion. To this day her dad still doesn't know and she's still pretty active in the Mormon church.

I went back to work at my old high school and middle school after graduating college and the middle school actually had a dedicated class to the pregnant girls/mothers in the 7th and 8th grade. We had about 5 girls in that class I think?

Gen 2 really did come cool stuff to make the NPCs feel interactive and the world feel like it was alive.

It's a shame how hollow the following games were in that aspect.

I loved how you would exchange cell phone numbers with them and you can battle them but they would have leveled up/more Pokmon showing their own progress as well.

I don't see how the notion of preferential treatment is misguided in SK when men there really are still forced to serve in the military during their prime years (putting them behind in education), while women are not.

The article itself states that young men don't actually want male privilege. But it also states that they don't want patriarchal responsibilities either. That's just fair.

And most feminists here would rather mandatory military service not be a thing...

The people that want to continue the compulsory military service are the old men who also have this "Feminism is destroying our country" mindset.

That doesn't make any sense. They are an entirely different medium. TV series don't get nominated for Film Score awards either. Plus there are video game awards including an academy-centered awards body similar to the Oscars.

Video Game Soundtracks are eligible for music awards. Journey was nominated for a Grammy a few years back.

The Book of Boba Fett had two really really interesting premises.

Fett living with and learning the Tusken culture. It was great to have some world building over an established but little understood aspect of the original trilogy.

Fett actually becoming a gang leader. Keep the tribe massacre in play but keep the Tusken kid for Fett to look after and become part of the enterprise. Do a lot more with Krrsantan. He's a fucking Wookie for Christ sakes. But the moped gang? The constant switch of main villains, a bad-ass rival bounty hunter introduced too late in the season? Meh.

The worst aspect is the Mandalorian stuff though. I mean it was good for the most part but it didn't need to be shoe-horned into the show to devalue it's importance.

Oh and give those Gamorrean guards some justice for crying out loud! Should have kept them and killed off the cyborgs.
