Street Fighter is very hard for me to wrap my head around. It presents as way more straightforward than anime fighters where people are stopping time or managing their Baseball Meter, but all the buttons overwhelm me.

I have no idea if I should be kicking or punching besides whichever is my quickest jab or longest range, and that makes me feel like I have no idea what I'm doing with my own character.

i've seen every episode of family guy, maybe i missed like 2% of episodes somehow.

About 5-8 is where I noticed Family Guy was at its worse when I watched the whole thing a year ago. I skipped chunks of that.
That was the point of post-reboot where they insisted on having grounded family stories but their joke pacing was much slower than the original run (and less funny). On top of that, too many episodes were designed around a lukewarm current event issue for Brian to be heroic about and try to change the world.

Seasons 9+ start to become a more and more absurdist show and Brian gets retooled such that he's an outed pseud and hypocrite who everybody calls out (that is to say, he's 1000x funnier).

She has a sticker of Stewie on the back of her car and owns several shirts with Family Guy characters on them. Her favorite is Mr. Pewterschmidt.

You're putting a lot of faith in Araki having drawings further than 3 chapters in advance at a time

Like when you look at Josuke they had to scrape stuff like the shaving gag scene. And I have doubts that Araki has even completed the first chapter of Jojolands.

They'd have a model and an ability but zero references to make.

Part 9 JoJo

They barely cobbled together Josuke when this game released a decade ago from the material up to Shakedown Road. Even if Jojolands chapter 1 dropped tomorrow, making that a character would feel super incomplete because they won't have enough stuff to do interesting HHA and GHA and capture the character's mannerisms.

Even Josuke in this game feels sort of incomplete, especially his GHA 'Soft & Wet' which is just a punch rush preceded by something he never did in the manga (taking friction from their body itself).

Kinda veering off the original topic of this post, but for real, I would love a "Josuke Beyond" new character that adapts him to the rest of Jojolion. Doing the Jojo from the longest part right would feel more proper than adding another one off villain at least.

You might find this game better because the framerate has been doubled to a stable 60 and they claim the inputs have been made easier to do.

My biggest concern is the online tbh, I don't care if it's super complex or balanced because I'm pretty casual in regards to fighting games tbh. I will say in that in the Korean stream demonstration match I thought the added hitstop looked like it was a little too much.

Honestly the game could suck balls but include Jobin and Wonder of U and I'd consider it a success

The revealed characters are Speedwagon, Mariah, Pet Shop, and Diego Brando. These characters were all playable in EoH and have likely had their models reused and movesets retooled for this 2D game.

There are 6 characters left unrevealed on this trailer's character screen. 4 when you count Trish and Prosciutto which were leaked during the announcement.

There will be an additional 4 new characters in a season pass.

Yes, but the characters in the finale experience them from their linear perspective. Nobody in the last episode moves through time (except at the normal rate of time passing lol), including the Prophets.
