Oh man that's almost as bad as the war of the emu. I can't recall all the details so I'll give a simple version. War vets from I wanna say Australia settled down somewhere and started up some farmland. Emus where helping themselves to their crop. So they ask for assistance and where granted a galling gun and 20k rounds of ammo. Everytime they'd start shooting the emu would scatter and they'd only kill a few. They ran out of ammo only having killed a tiny fraction of the emu.

So while the emu didn't rack up a body count they won the war of attrition.

MGS3 is better then MGS2 in this timeline.

It's my favorite from a story perspective. Outside moving around and combat it has some of my favorite gameplay elements though. Like the healing system the hunting animals. Mgsv has better combat and overworld movement imo

I doubt they where as strong as the real doomsday. I saw the animated movie. You'd win some battles sure but eventually they'd just take you out from afar before you knew they where there. Superman can do what he does cause he's durable. He ain't gotta worry a sniper is gonna pick him off.

Me... well I had my fifteen minutes of fame and had article about me in 15 states newspapers.

All cause I cried on my first day of school and the local media just happened to be there for some damn reason.

Long story short they where doing this thing where they split up the class and we each came in on a different day the first week for I guess a orientation of how class was gonna work. I was simply with my mom dropping my older brother off and my teacher saw us and said we had a student not show up he can fill in. I wasn't expecting to have to stay.

Not my last time being in a newspaper. Just the second time it wasn't about "me" but the football team I was on. They just happened to catch a good pic of me making a block for our running back who made a touchdown on that play.

I just felt the need to clarify because its come up on this board before, and it happens all the time on dating apps. I dont like when people conflate crossdressing with being transgender, and discuss them as if theyre related issues. I feel whether its intentional or not, your message in the context of THIS topic, contributes to that continued misunderstanding. Crossdressing is a valid form of self expression, but from my understanding its absolutely not an LGBTQ+ thing.

Another thing in particular that bothered me about your message is I feel so uncomfortable when people describe me as having courage, when the truth is that you dont know what kind of coward I am. I dont know whats going to happen, yeh I could get attacked on the street, but I could also die if my carbon monoxide detector goes out. A lot of what gave me the freedom to come out and continues to allow me to self express as I wish is the fact that Im privileged enough that I have a beyond fair amount of insulation from genuine mortal harm. Of course there absolutely are trans people who are astonishingly brave and intrepid, and who serve as inspirations and deserve all the credit for illuminating the path for us; but I am not one of them and I dont want people to get that impression of me.

7:30 for me. But I wasn't a endurance runner I was more short distance and pure speed. In a short distance run I could keep up with the guy who could run a 6 minute mile. He was also our star running back on the football team

I'm flat footed and made the track team. I was the slowest but considering they had been undefeated for 3 years they obviously felt I was good enough.

Worst name I have for a cat is cheeto. When we first got him my thought was he looked like a overly seasoned cheese. My niece loved it so it stuck.

People like to name cats based on particular aspects for some reason. Like we had storm. We found him in a storm. Stinky. As a kitten she had a bad habit of crawling on your shoulder then farting in your face. We got ginger and red. Two twin cats that are orange. Got a brownie cause she's brown. A marshmallow cause she's white. Had a black cat named vivi (black with yellow eyes. Final fantasy 9 reference)

Oh yeah we had a cat named Bruce (all black cat with a deep raspy meow). And he started fucking one of the outside ferals so we named her Selina.
Brother has a cat named shank he took it home from the prison he worked at and that cat will cut a bitch in a heartbeat.

It can be done well. I liked omni man. I liked red son superman. Infant he's my favorite alternate universe superman cause he's a badguy but he still has morals. It's more like he's he's good guy that was just misguided through life. Injustice I like the reasoning he became a tyrant but I feel they went overboard with how evil he was.

Closest thing I've see to justified speeding was my mom. She worked at a prison and a CO worker told her how a inmate that got released said he was gonna kill her family but she got busted doing 95 in a 25. She had called the cops before leaving so she told the cop that he radioed in found out it had been reported and he ended up escorting her back to her house. At like 95 mph. Iirc he still gave her a ticket but HEAVILY reduced how much over she was going

Durability. Usefull for my line of work. Sure some might be stronger than me and toss me around like a ragdoll the whole time but I'll survive. Backup will eventually show up and everything will be fine.

The story and reduced gameplay of Fable 3 is why it sucks, less heroes, a lame plot at the beginning, and a much weaker main character was a no this is a bad sequel.

Fable 1 is the best of the 3 with Fable 2 still having the spirit of the first game.

Fable series literally gets worse and more reduced in gameplay every new main game.

In Fable 2 the option to kill Reaver should have been a choice, he is easily the biggest POS character.

Hell reaver killing the main villain if you take too long was the only part of 2 I thought was truly great.

I liked 3s story. Your brother seems like such a tyrant until you find out why he was such a tyrant. Really hits home too if you choose to execute him. The look on his face..

I did hate you didn't start as a child though. Considering there would be a statue of your Fable 2 hero if you had save data it woulda been cool if they had an onscreen appearance during a childhood segment for your character. Idk like maybe start of the game is them heading off on a adventure you later find out was them going out to try and stop the villain of the game but they die. That way they could easily avoid them needing a VA

12 is one of my favorites so yeah I remember her. She's the most forgettable of the cast though.

Fable 3 is my favourite Fable.

Kinda mine. I liked the original fable more before the expansion. Changing Jack's voice killed it for me. His original voice made the character for me

I liked fable 3 more than 2. 2 wasn't bad but it was forgettable. Like I barely remember any of the story. Reaver was the only real highlight.

Black lipstick would have been better but still damn good pics.

Wish i had pics of when I crossdressed as a goth girl for gender bender day in high-school.

I got told once I couldn't have any friends cause I'm bi and as such they had to worry about me cheating on them with anybody. I tried to compromise and say they where always welcome to be present but he was anti social so that was a no go. Ended up telling em to deal with it we lived in redneckland good luck finding another guy willing to put up with his shit. This was before grindr and shit like that.

4/10 on the right. They let their dog just be outside unsupervised so its a pain to let my dogs out. They are sometimes noisy but not often. On the left I often forget they are there.

I like pokemon more but to choose If i had powers or be master of something that had powers I'd rather have the powers. Give me water bending and blood bending.

Not reading other posts. My idea always was he didnt have a health bar the city did. And you could have two or more things going on at once and you'd have to prioritize how to handle it to minimize damage to the city.

Maybe during boss fights you had your own life bar.

It actually isn't, it's literally just there to tack like 3 minutes onto every trip you make to either map. You can disable it with mods.

3 minutes is a bit of an exaggeration. Maybe 30 seconds.

I liked mgsvs I knew it was hiding a loading screen. But it made it feel more immersive.

Loading screens should have something though. Even if it's just like elder scrolls where it throws up random lore. Great way to learn some of the lore without extra effort.

Loading screens that just have a Loading icon annoy me unless they are super short

To a degree nanonmachines in metal gear solid. For some characters I can accept that explanation for their powers. Some characters not so much. I can see them making Armstrong near invulnerable. I can maybe buy them healing vamp fast enough he's seemingly immortal. I can't buy them making a dude psychic though.

Im british and i've never held a gun in my life. But id like to be able to go to a shooting range with one. So its kinda sad that the existence of guns are causing all these homicides. Cause otherwise, it can be a fine sport when your only shooting targets and clay discs.

Im assuming its miles better than bowling.

Shooting is fun. I get to do waste 50 rounds a year on the states money. Kinds hurts the fun that my job depends on me passing but it's till fun

Like I said I feel maybe some do. Not many.

And yeah teachers have to be passionate about their job. Or atleast where when they decided to do it. It's not like being a surgeon where you got all them dollar signs as a motivator.

Just saying I can see where a pedo might be attracted to a job that allows them to be around kids all day in the same way I'm sure some guys are attracted to jobs that allow them to be around women all day. Hell in school it's why most guys took certain electives like home ec. Or whatever it's called. The classes where mostly taken by girls.

It does seem strange, but I think I agree. It's like how I love Zelda but don't like the full-length dungeons in traditional Zelda games.

Anyway yeah, exploring the world finding and documenting new species is the fun part of pokemon. Battling through gyms and caves is kind of a slog. Though I will say the cutscenes in the last couple gens have been way worse than the battles.

Yeah I've always preferred the stuff between dungeons in Zelda games more than the dungeons. But it's two different experiences for me. I like for games to be a little relaxing which is the overworked stuff in Zelda. Sometimes I like feeling proud of an accomplishment which is beating a dungeon with zero help in Zelda.

In pokemon I like the battles I never liked how frequent they are. Legends gets it about right for me. For the most part I only have to fight when I choose To. No screen transitions makes it really nice. I don't wanna fight I just keep trucking right by them. Same reason I liked final fantasy 12. Used to think I wasn't fond of turn based combat. It's just random battle encounters and screen transitions for battles I disliked
