It was an out of hours thing. They only had enough staff to cover 250 people. If theyd have been let known before it would be more then they could have been accommodated.

There are no stakes. You know who is untouchable at this point. Characters have plot armor, because they are too popular to die. Other characters are boring and tiring. Some characters have lost their charm and needed to go years ago.

The beginning of the game sucks. They drop you off in a boring town and then you go into a boring sewer stage and then do a boring prison stage.

Push through that, and it becomes a lot more interesting.

There is a book called Kindred, where a woman gets teleported back and forth between modern day and American Slavery times. At one point, she is teleported into a wall, losing her arm.

That game was dumb fun. I wish they would go all in on it with online features and communities, but i guess all the Hitler and penis faces wouldnt fly well

Trust me. I live in Japan.

Every single kid watched it when it came out. They all have the fabric patterns from the characters as pencil cases, bags, masks, whatever. Toys are everywhere. It is aimed at kids. parents hate it, especially when the first movie came out, because it is too scary.

Its a shonen anime that doesnt look gross or cheap.

It came out RIGHT when Covid hit, so it was a bright spot in a dark time.

The song helped a lot here in Japan. Couldnt go a day without hearing it.

It had cute characters for the little kids and girls, and cool characters for the boys and teens.

Wasnt afraid to push boundaries for a kids anime. Got really violent at times.

It barely worked. It was using magnets or something, and it was so sensitive that it erased almost anything you drew.

The player character should be revealed to be an AI that is being tested for the first time. If it succeeds, obviously prisoners live, but the AI goes on to help millions of people.

If you fail, not only do prisoners die, but you become discontinued too.

So there are stakes on both ends.
