Lmao, he did the exact same thing to me too. I went to load into roundtable hold but went to the bathroom, and then after that was talking to someone in the kitchen. I was wondering why the game booted me back out. I saved the last 5 minutes of gameplay so I can re-watch a clip of what happened and that dick got a freebie off me.

Some sorcery dude invaded us and I let my friend and that guy fight one on one, but two good hits and the invader's HP just evaporated. I'm guessing your average invader just does not put a lot of points into vigor or something, lol.

Not gonna' lie, I am just getting to the mountaintop of giants and at this point and I now want this game to end since the later game regular mobs is getting all tanky and whatnot.

They made these annoying ass floating cat statue things regular mobs now and I'm not sure I am about that life that wants to fight those things over and over. I also love how the elden ring community can come together as one with some of these player messages, lol:

Not going to lie I don't remember any song from any of the souls games

When it comes to the souls series I am the same way. I only really remember the final boss theme from dark souls 3.

Bloodborne is the exception though....I remember a ton of tracks from that one. Father gasgorne's (sp?), lady maria's, gehrman, and especially ludwig's (because of that second phase, god damn). Something about bloodborne's ost really stuck with me.

I'm glad I did some co-op and helped people beat Rennala. She did a bunch of really cool attacks I never saw her do in my fight with her. It's kind of a shame she was so easy. Her moveset is the coolest I've seen so far.

Yeah the giant spirit dragon and whatnot was a cool attack that I didn't see when I fought her since I obliterated her so quick. Got to see all the fancy stuff when I decided to co-op a bit to help others out.

Yeah I don't know why I was hoping it would have classrooms full of students taking courses (that would attack you soon you enter the classroom like that one place with all the slime dudes in bloodborne and whatnot. Getting our hopes up when we heard the word academy I guess, lol.

Pick any generic brown and grey 360/PS3 era shooter. Man that was one ugly generation when it came to the flood of first and third person shooters.

Stuff like wet for example actually stood out with the film grain cutscenes and it's soundtrack that made it look like a quentin tarantino movie, but something like say 50 cent bulletproof in the sand or generic military shooter #1385 is a prime example of that gen's bland with it's look.

I just learned that there are three similar body pieces to what you are wearing (the cape hangs different). Spent over an hour farming for the monk body version. Gave up after getting about 18 pairs of the pants but no body.

As for the head, I'm partial to the altered flower hood. It leaves just the wreath of flowers.

Ah I didn't know there was a 3rd one. I managed to get the nox swordstress and night maiden armors. Only ever found the night maiden twin crown since I couldn't get the other helmet to drop. Yeah the altered flower hood is nice.

Fashion souls in this game can get annoying at times because the drop rates for armor can be a pain in the ass. It took me like two hours just to get the grave keeper's greaves yesterday, lol.

*Currently bored as fuck from killing the two gravekeeper dudes in leyndall over and over for the greaves of the set. Has found multiples of the helmets, cloaks, and like 6 hammers and axes*

I would leave this for later after I get the item discovery accesory that for some reason from software has decided to put towards the end of the game, but these two gatekeepers dissapear and thus the set would be missable after I progress past this point.

I killed like 150 of these fuckers so far, =/

This game has plenty of npc invaders to fight against. They drop some pretty good rewards most of the time so try to beat'em.

I am finally at the home stretch of leyndell. As far as I know I made sure to get every single item/missable and did as much as I could of that sewer section (including getting that really cool blood talisman). The sheer size of this dungeon was nuts, lol.

Like I just got that quest to give a potion to the warrior girl from a jerk make. Well currently she isn't in the hold and I already met her in that village and she has since left. Where is she now? Who knows.

She is definitely supposed to be at the hold after you complete that village boss. She is supposed to be down the stairs from where the blacksmith dude is at. (The first time she is at the hold she was outside the door from that all-knowing whats his name dude, so not this spot).

Even then, don't give her that potion, lol.

Does everyone use a guide or at least online map for playing this game? I feel like I would miss soooo many quests/dungeons in this game if I wasnt at least referencing a map when I am about done with an area to double check I got all the dungeons.

Like even when I know there is a catacombs in this cliff side somewhere after looking online, it can still take me like 5 minutes of searching to find the door, hidden in this random corner behind a bunch of trees or some crap lol

Yea. I try not to spoil myself on story details but I look over guides just enough to not miss any permanently missable weapons, armors, quests and bosses.

I have too many games to play when it comes to "just wait for new game plus" so I try to get as much as I can. Actually I am going straight into stranger of paradise final fantasy origin when I finish this game up.

Lessee...I was a senior in highschool and I believe I was either in homeroom or study hall when it went down. Classes continued like normal but everyone was talking about it though.

In retrospect they should have just cancelled classes since neither the teachers nor the majority of students could focus that day.

Hmm third flying turtle for Chelona's rise isn't appearing for me.

If this is the same turtle that I am thinkin' about when I did this rise place yesterday, then that turtle for whatever reason kills itself and is already counted among the turtles needed to break that seal. I was looking around for that turtle for like 15 minutes before I read a comment (helpful youtube comments, the world is changing I tell you what) saying that it already counted for some reason.

I just cut the PS5 on, chilllin on the dashboard and whatnot for a bit and came across this stream under the explore tab and from the playstation community.....he is having mad trouble against the beast clergyman boss at crumbling azura (neither he nor his mimic tear can last longer than 20 seconds. He keeps trying to use that beam sorcery that you normally see dudes obliterate bosses with on youtube but he does not really have the stats and equipment to actually make it viable. Only like two casts before he is out of FP and the damage is crazy low), but the thing that surprises me the most about this dude is that he apparently been rocking a heavy equip load through the entire game.....how in lord's name someone can make it that far fat rolling and with every other enemy breaking your guard because of the poor equip load I have no idea:

Maple story was the first ever korean mmo cash shop grindfest I ever played, and yeah, I was a little hooked on maple story for awhile. I kept spending money to get hair style tickets so my character can have that ponytail (hair tickets gave random styles so you had to keep spending if you did not get lucky/ended up getting a crewcut hairstyle), cash shop clothes, for pets (and the items that let the pets pick up item and money drops, which where separate purchases, =/ ), and finally exp tickets. I used to buy those tickets that gave double exp from 10pm to 2am, and again from 2am to 6am eastern.

Yeah, I did this routinely for around 8 months'ish before I finally broke and asked myself what in the fuck am I doing with all my money and then quit maple story cold turkey. I missed out on so many games from 2004 to about 2008ish since I was playing so many mmos during that time period.

Now when it comes to non-cash shop stuff/straight up in-game money, then I bought a shark card for gta online around when it very first came out. (This was back when the basic tank was the most expensive thing in the game at that point). It was the 49.99 dollar shark card when it was on sale for 50 percent off.

I never bought one ever again.

Feels like having higher poise in the mid 40s/50s range has been helping me out pretty well on the pve side of things. I went through the majority of the game rocking the lighter vulgar militia set and with something like that someone breathing on your ear staggers you out of everything, but lately I slapped on great-jar aersenal and erdtree's favor talismans (alongside the ragagon's soreseal and using godrick's great rune) while using the tankier stuff like the cleanrot and crucible armor and being able to take like 2 or 3 hits without being interrupted from enemies like those nightmaidens is pretty noticeable.

Same here. I played dark souls 3 a good bit after it released (I got it shortly after the ringed city dlc came out if I remember right) so bleed was most likely already toned down then, but I still went with using katanas and claws spec'd to get the most out of bleed since it was a fun playstyle.

Feels pretty lame that all the band-wagoners practically gaurantees the play style is going to be beat with a nerf bat hard mainly because of the pvp.

Not even gonna' lie I'm speeding up a bit since I already know my dex bleed katanas about to get the absolute shit nerfed outta' them probably like next week. (I was being a bleed weeb before it was cool dammit).

Command mission was pretty great.

I know when it comes to the first 6 X games that X6 has a bit of a reputation (and honestly, it deserves most of the flak it gets when it comes to the rushed level design and sitations what was not play-tested like unwinnable high max setups and zero having a dive move on his up square, lol) but despite it's rushedness I always thought X6 was better than X5. Better music (that amazon rainforest/commander yammark music), zero got some cool lookin' new sprite animations, and X's ninja + samurai armor is totally cooler than the falcon and gaia armors. Also the way you got those bonus parts via intentionally letting the timer go down to level up the boss mavericks and then picking one or the other in X5 was dumb (understandable since the part system was new at this point, but it was still dumb). X6's system is barely any better, but at least it's better than the on that X5 had.

Finally got through the lake of rot (which surprisingly wasn't as bad as other typical from software poison swamp regions to me. Already have faith to use flame cleanse me made it to where I was in and out of that place asap) and finished off astel naturalborn of the void (sp?).

Honestly, if this is the mimic tear after it was toned down a little I would hate to see this thing in it's pre-patch state with my character's setup. It feels so tanky as is. Even fighting the one dragonkin dude in the lake of rot my mimic tear looked like it was healing itself with flame cleanse me constantly and just kept trucking right in the lake, lol.

Yeah, feels bad =( I guess with a game with so many weapons and armors its still going to take people quite a while to make a 100 percent accurate list of all this stuff. It wasn't a total waste on my end since I at least got like two levels killing those mobs over and over, lol.

I have been killing this same nox swordstress looking for the nox flowing sword for the past hour now and for some reason she isn't dropping anything at all, not even armor pieces. Its at the point where it feels like the game glitched out on me or something.

(My boy was helping me transfer patch's leather armor to my main character. I just made a quick throwaway alt. character and rushed to murkwater cave to ice patches real quick-like. In the short span of transfering and my friend and I killing a world boss over at atlas plateau for the hell of it we got invaded 3 times. The timer for invasions must be short or somethin').

I will say this though....neither of us lost a fight. We was fighting 1 v 1 when they came in. My friend won the first fight and I won the next two.
