If it is in-state and Texas law considers abortion murder, then MAYBE they could make a case. But I do not believe they can legally do anything for an out-of-state case.

Even if they charge a woman with murder, Texas has no authority to prosecute her since the murder occurred outside the state. It would be the job of the state where to procedure took place to prosecute her and if it is legal there, then obviously that would not occur. It would be the equivalent of non-weed legal state filing charges against a dude when he got back to his home state after getting high in Colorado. They really have no jurisdiction to pursue such a case.

One of the most important things in US Law is autonomy and sovereignty of the states, meaning all states laws are equal. If Texas were allowed to prosecute someone for a crime they committed in another state, Texas is basically saying their laws are more important then the other state where it is legal. That is not allowed obviously.

Again Im not an expert and maybe I am wrong, just using the little legal experience I have to make observations.

it doesnt matter if its not legal for Texas to prosecute when they can still charge the people and ruin their lives while its hung up in court. And thats if the courts dont rule in favor of Texas

I agree. But from a realist perspective, the big guns decide. Much like how the US and China control various parts of the world not thanks to democracy but rather thanks to actual military and economic muscle, so do Russia. There's no morality involved in that analysis. Although we're seeing that Russia's military muscle isn't as much as one might have thought, they still have nukes and a lot of guns.

But again. I agree with you. That's not something that should be up to Putin.

the difference is the US has bases in various parts of the world because those countries allow us to. we don't just move in and be like "yeah this is our territory now, deal with it".

i have 3000 hours in overwatch and played tank and dps at a diamond level

overwatch is a cursed game. this mmo holy-trinity bullshit that blizzard forces into every game was a poison pill. it will never, ever be balanced properly, it's impossible. the characters play too differently from one another, with vastly differing skill floors/ceilings/value-for-effort, and too many of them are balanced around binary outcomes. there is no amount of numbers-tweaking nor ruleset/format changing that will make a viable competitive game out of this horsepile.

the playerbase is fucking clueless and doesn't even seem to hear themselves shouting contradictions at the devs. these players, they still want two tanks, but they want someone else to play those tanks, but they also want tanks to be nerfed and to not dictate the meta, teehee~! yeah, good luck, assholes.

equally annoying are the amount of people who act like role queue is forced into every single mode instead of just quick-play and competitive. there's like, 12 other game modes, unironically, where you can pick whoever you want, including quick play classic which is literally just 2016-2019 overwatch and is available 24/7 rather than being on a rotation like the other arcade modes. i don't really get why this is blown up so much, the only explanation i can think of is people are genuinely talking out of their asses and haven't taken 30 seconds to look up if overwatch has modes that didn't add role lock.

i could go on but my Dairy Queen Flamethrower Stackburger with Onion Rings and a Diet Pepsi has arrived

yeah Ive only done QP classic since role queue was put in, but probably about half my games end up as 2/2/2 anyway. The biggest problem is you get the dps who whine about role queue because they dont want to wait in a 10 min queue, but they also turn around and whine about not having tanks or healers in arcade because 4 people instalock dps
