i have a broken iphone 5 somewhere in my house. the thing doesn't turn on, not sure why i havent thrown it out yet.

i bought one a couple years ago. used it for a few months but stopped. i just dont find them that useful, and the battery life on mine was horrible. had to charge it once a day. pain in the ass. maybe i would have used it more if the battery life were longer, like a real watch.

Ive wondered what youre supposed to do if youre in a fender-bender. Obviously you shouldnt call 911 since its not an emergency, but should you call the number for the nearest police station? Or just exchange insurance info with the other driver and never call the police?

Tbh I'm not completely sure. When I got into my car accident, I just called 911, even though it was not life-threatening at all. I figured it was fine because it was urgent. But the police response time was still very poor (2 hours).

i've called the police 10+ times in my entire life. examples:

• got into a car accident. called the police to make a report.
• i'm a security guard. in the almost 3 years i've been here, i've had to call at least 10 times because of people loitering on property that refuse to leave
• one time as a security guard, i called 911 because a person claimed they were having chest pain. i let the operator know about their symptoms. the ambulance came and picked them up. i'm fairly positive it was a homeless person who was faking the whole thing, but i treated it like it was 100% legitimate.

I wish I had known about IT certifications and had started on those when I was 18 instead of going to college.

IT certs are nice, but I chose to return to school because I learn better in that type of environment. I learn better when I'm being held accountable. plus, i've heard that getting a bunch of certs is the same as just getting an associate's degree.

i used to regret going to school, but now i regret not going back sooner.

wish i could say the same lol. we work on all holidays, even thanksgiving and christmas day. but that's just the nature of this job, i knew going into it that would be the case. fuck me lol.

i hated mega evolutions at first, but it grew on me and i liked the idea. outside of mega kangaskhan and a couple others, none of them were overly broken and the concept of mega evolutions was not too busted. after all, you had to carry a mega stone, and you could only have one mega pokemon. so there was some strategy on who you should make your mega. as long as a mega stone is required and you can only have ONE mega pokemon per team, it's not overly broken.

this is why i do not like mega rayquaza. they should not have made a mega pokemon that doesn't need a mega stone. this is not consistent with the other mega evolutions, and one of the things that kept mega pokemon balanced was the requirement to carry a mega stone. a mega pokemon with the ability to carry a choice item, life orb, leftovers or any boosting item is way too OP.

I've heard the movie is bad, but was it a failure like people are claiming? I know James said he was hoping a big movie producer would pick it up and that never happened, but did it necessarily do poorly?

not going to school sooner. i went to college when i was 19, but dropped out after a year. i don't regret that part, i'm glad i fucked around for a couple years...but i wish i returned when i was 23 or something. now i'm 30 and i'm playing catch up.

i don't have a lot of outlets. i would like to start dating, and especially make more friends, but i don't have many interests that involve women and others. and it does kind of frustrate me tbh.

where do people go when they want to socialize and meet new people? a bar. but i dont drink, so i don't feel comfortable going to a bar. i certainly could go, but i feel like a bar isn't really "me".

while i am involved in clubs and hobbies, they're all male-dominated. i love computer programming, gaming and video editing, most of which is very male-dominated. my interests in general are very male-dominated. i'll admit, i could try more activities and see if i like them, such as yoga or something. so in this sense, i blame myself. this doesn't just apply to dating, but i also really want to make friends too.

• one ex used to be very good at predicting endings to movies and TV shows, and she had to shout it out loud. she was right 90% of the time too. she went to school for literature or something, so she literally studied this type of stuff. that shit used to piss me off, cuz it would ruin movies and TV shows for me lol.
• one girl i used to date couldn't sleep unless she had family guy or some other TV show on. we would be cuddling or even doing it, and family guy would be running in the background lmao. it was definitely a distraction for me, and i had trouble sleeping at her place.

what about you?

you guys remember sonicdevil? he played with us one night (joker main). well he's prolly never gonna be around again. at the end of last semester, he told me he doesnt really like school, and probably isn't going to come back any time soon. He didn't enroll this semester, and he ended up leaving the smash club discord

This new kid that joined smash club is really good. He has three stocked most of us in the club. I'm kind of surprised, because for some reason I expect new club members to be bad at the game. Don't know why, it's not like the game is exclusive to this club lol. I sort of had a feeling he was going to be extremely good, because he was super timid and nerdy. Usually when someone is very quiet, I assume they're pretty good at the game. Hopefully that doesn't come off as offensive.

some comments:

• little caesers really is S tier. just stay away from their Hot N Ready Pizza.
• panera is super overrated
• boston market is underrated
• chipotle is leagues better than moe's.
• i do think five guys is better than In N Out
• i have waffle house > denny's > ihop, but they are both similar in quality. it was a close call.
• if it were 5 years ago, i would have ranked papa johns over dominos, but last time i want to papa johns i wasn't impressed.
• shake shack is ranked kinda poorly, but i only had it once. i had a mushroom & swiss burger, which prolly wasnt the best burger to get
• i have mcdonalds ranked higher than wendys because 99% of the time i get breakfast from both places, and nothing can compete with mcdonalds breakfast, as good as wendy's breakfast is

also, not sure if draco meteor or hurricane are moves that dragonite doesn't normally get, but even if they are, neither of them are great moves for dragonite. he's a physical attacker. but i guess it's good if you want to mixup.

nothing special. it has inner focus instead of multiscale, and it has 2 special moves even though it's a dragon dance set.

I have a friend who's Chinese and she tells me that it's not a great place to live. She has a VPN because a lot of sites are blocked. There's a lot of rules and restrictions when it comes to the media. Apparently people with tattoos cannot be on TV, or something like that. Basically a lot of things are censored for propaganda.
